It's mainly the music and the song select interface (plus the options) that are taken from 9th CS, but songlist-wise, they stocked it up on 7th Style songs that we're new to in home and recycled in the CS release.

If this is true, then there could be a chance that they might change the L7 and 7K charts, along with the double charts.

SLAKE is always a hit or miss. In my opinion, he has like 2 or 3 good songs... the rest is pure CRAPTACULAR. MINT being the newest crap that sucks

Stuff I liked of his? Music to your head, Ready To Rockit Blues & 22DUNK.
On the other hand I like all of SPARKER stuff who is also SLAKE.

His Calf stuff is fairly decent some of the time, but his Slake alias is uaually used for his songs tha cannot possibly be qualified as music, like Love is Drowing. I mean, what the hell was that?!

my take on beatmania US: its good for people who are new to the game.... unappealing for veteran players who already have the japanese iidx games



some of the things said here:

Mei and Dirty of Loudness: Mei is easily harder than Dirty of Loudness... hitting 7 keys and scratching the turntable isnt impossible u can either use ur one whole hand hitting all 7 keys and the other scratching or however u want

ive played Mei another and its impossible. a friend and I have tried playing it we couldnt get the bar up above 24% throughout the whole song (except for the beginning and end)



Slake: Slake is alright hes only made one song under the name Calf (Scream Squad) which is alright (it grows on you)

i dont mind his newer stuff i kinda dont like his older stuff (cloudy music and Gambol)

his newer stuff like Green Eyes are alright.... Mint sounds weird


Red CS: Red CS shoudl be fun there isnt anyword really about Beatmania US exclusives coming to the RED CS but definently possible



Do u guys only play the home versions? I oftenly go to an arcade to play IIDX Happy sky but really hoping that the arcade gets DistorteD



Some Accomplishments ive done:
One handed: passed 250 BPM another, Ghost Revival 7k (with an A)

Two Handed: passed a bunch of 11 star anothers such as Andromeda recently (bad ending)

almost passed Scream Squad another (not an 11 star definently a 12 star)

passed Spica another, One or Eight another, Stoic another, and some other songs recently

Wait, you can pass One or Eight [a], but not Scream Squand [a]!? Well, I can sort of understand because of the evil ending, but then again they say that Sync, Kakumei, and Zero-one are only 10s. Anyway, I'm still struggling furiously with One or Eight 7K. In DistordeD, Scream Squad was bumped up to a 12 on both [a]7 and [a]14[a], and Spica was demoted to an 11 for [a]7, and I highly disagree with the level-lowering.


Anyway, the closest I got to playing IIDX at an arcade was playing beatmania (The Final), and that instantly tells you that there are no IIDX machines in PA, and the closest one nearby is in New Jersey.

you can always take a journey to TGA, thats in your region at least.

I gotta drive up to Los Angeles to play some HAPPY SKY over at Arcade Infinity. Roughly a two hour drive or so give or take traffic

Scream Squad is stupid ive almost passed it before but the scratching does kill me...


like the difference between One or Eight another and Scream Squad another is that although both do have heavy scratching One or Eight has notes in order to kinda make up for some of the miss scratches

as to Scream Squad has a REALLY weird note pattern before the heavy scratching(with no notes really)

i really dont agree with the Spica difficulty change at all either.... no one in japan has AAA'd it in arcades(maybe in CS but whatever)

Spica another is easier with random on but there is a really off beat weird note pattern and there is also a huge wall of hitting 4-5 notes and scratching (like innocent walls which ive passed the another and 7k) so yeah

in distorted they also bumped up
100% Minimoog another 10 -> 11
Gigadelic 7k 11 -> 12
Fake time 7k 11 -> 12

which i totally agree with since all three have BS endings and the only way i can pass 100% minimooG is passing it with hard mode on
