That PV is the most moeblob inducing PA Works PV I've seen ever. Seems like some B-grade moe comedy (and being about the anime industry as a side does not mean jack all, when the entire main cast is a bunch of cute girls most likely doing cute thigns) that JC Staff or Kyoani would do. Holy moly have they fallen low. I don't think I'll be even trying this one tbh.

What a horrifically generic trailer. But that's nothing new. I swear PA Works makes trailers to encourage people to not watch their shows. I wouldn't judge it by their trailers; I mean what if the plot twist is that the animation studio is destroyed by a giant chicken or something?
Also, it started with donuts. Is that their response to criticism?

I think that Garupan, Ika Musume, and Joshiraku all qualify as "moe shows" by some definition. Why do you assume that he isn't going to enjoy doing this? I'd be more worried about how much the animation and art quality is going to deteriorate over the course of the show... |

At the end of the day, it might be be watchable but I lost count at the number of moe comedies there are every season. Bad ones too. Do we really need another one? Do we really need an anime original project one. It really does seem like a desperate, catering to lowest common denominator, money grabbing project to me. And considering PAW isn't particularly a large studio where we get multiple series a season, every one of their projects counts. Even more so considering their last 2 are going to be either flops or non-hits. Anyways I'm stopping since I'm sounding like a broken record machine atm. Who knows? Maybe in the off chance it might actually be good. |

Of course, Mizushima is a comedy director, so... |

I don't see how Mizushima's personal enjoyment figures into things... He's a professional, he's probably doing his best on this one, too. That doesn't mean it's awesome that the main cast is made up of generic moeblobs who appear to be doing generic cute moeblob things, and perhaps Mizushima himself would like it better if there was just a little bit more boldness and variety there. (Btw just look at how out of place the moeblobs look next to the side characters.)
