So much plot, it was really interesting, I like how the ring came back to the plot, didn't expect that.

The info dump is great, but the icing on the cake is Hata-sensei poking fun at himself and basically revealing that he never thought the manga would go on for ten years and fifty volumes (and it will take Viz at least ten years at minimum to get to volume 50 from where they are now). He's also revealing how he's wanting to wrap this up, but there's so much story to tell. So to speed things up, info dump, complete with Maria suddenly revealing out of nowhere why she really came into the Sanzenin family.

Still, it is awesome stuff.

Oh, and I'm calling this in my blog -- the "Himegami" in this chapter will actually turn out to be Machina.

Not-Himegami does look like Machina... and we have the thing with the Royal Garden's power to explain why he seems younger than he should and such. (Anyone wanna bet Athena used him as a guinea pig when trying to find out how to lift the curse on herself?)

Also, any guesses on why Nagi even had that dream? She obviously never would have seen that herself, so it couldn't be a memory...

That's actually a pretty good theory as they indeed look similar.

Though I wonder why Sakuya does indicate that the person in the photo (From the end of the mystery room arc) is Himegami?

If I were to guess, I suppose "Aoi Himegami" is a relative (sibling) of the Himegami that was Nagi's Butler. (Since characters only use the last name in regards to said character(s) there's no contradiction.)

EDIT: Someone somewhere else mentioned this, but this chapter finally explains how Athena could have seen Maria all the way back at the "End of the World" arc.

I don't think she'll turn back until much closer to the end. Not until Mikado is desperate enough to allow it, and as we've seen having her memories back is enough to allow her to do stuff on her own just without any magic to back it up.

As far as the ring goes...If Hayate had been the one to find it that might have gone somewhere, but Athena getting her own ring back, in secret, isn't much of a hook, just tying up a loose end. At most it might rekindle her feelings and prompt her to throw her hat back in the ring.

I'm not seeing the Machina/Himegami angle at all or where it could possibly go, personally.

Hata you fucking troll, I love you. Redoing the first chapter to update it to current art and story purposes. It's awesome seeing the minor differences and what he's decided to remove/add.

Ayumu officially added to Hayate's "normal classmates" group. She replaced the long haired glasses girl.
The party is 1k yen instead of 3k yen, thus showing he's even poorer than he originally was.
Hayate doesn't bike down a set of stairs and crash.

HAHA now Nagi interrupted and yelled at people to read volume 1 if they want to see the story since it's been on sale for 10 years.

Rofl, and now original Maria is back and freaking Nagi out. And wow, apparently Hata got sued at one point (or almost sued).
