copyright issue? with who? and this is not the worse parody that I in anime and I haven't heard much in terms of them having copyright issue. Well except log hora but they do that to evade the sh*tstorm copyright issue to begin with.

Indeed - if SNK wasn't a venal rat's nest of lawyers existing solely for the purpose of nuisance lawsuits but instead still a real company, they should have welcomed the glowing publicity High Score Girl gave them. Instead, Square Enix was lazy, SNK is what it is, and a great manga and potential anime are shot and a mangaka's career possibly over.

The Idepon episode also has a parody/remix of the two Ideon themes as well though I'm not sure that's what got them nailed since it's not quite the same songs. Have a listen and compare if you want:

Usually it's audio copyrights that tend to get videos in trouble on streaming sites. It could be the Godot thing though too. I guess we'll find out eventually once it's all settled.

Well considering Beckett's objection to female actors in his play Waiting for Godot I'm really not that surprise. In fact there was two cases of actual theater companies actually having done female versions on Godot and gotten in cases with Beckett company about not doing it. Thankfully both have won their cases though. Although it could be for a different reason (copyright reasons) but this one seems the most likely reason why. Not sure how P.A. Works is going to change it though given it really made sense in context of the scene.

I don't know if I should be amused or disappointed that they could change the ending that radically at such a late date, and it still makes sense in the context of the series!

Being newbie voice-actress-chan sucks.

The CG one isn't satisfied with just working on cars despite in a higher position than the voice actress.

But if I had to choose, I would see Shizuka as being the one that doesn't make it and gives up, and only gets a role if the whole group gets high enough and they just let her in because they know her.

The parts we seen her audition and non-credited parts she does do, she doesn't seem good at all. While the rest are making progress in skill and experience.

When did this idol stuff get added to Exodus, first time I heard of it, or maybe I just missed it.

The aircraft carrier ending was, I thought, a bit "Thelma and Louise", and the director was having second thoughts about apparently killing off the main characters in the last episode (understandable!), so changed it to a happier ending - although I loved it when the writer thought he was going too far having the horses sprout engines and fly.

I think the best part of that was when Aoi suddenly realised they were going to have to animate a hundred horses. Aargh!

With the CG, I can see how it would feel soul-destroying just doing the same thing over and over again. Sure, you'd be shit-hot at doing CG wheels, but it would get tedious.
But I can see the company's reasoning, that by specialising in that one area they've become the go-to company for CG car animation, and they're doing well at it.
