This chapter covered quite a bit of story and didn't seem rushed. The reason why Motoyasu comes to the village is better when compared to taking a stroll (well, they're both valid, but this one advances the plot)...that was quite an exaggerated tax, huh?
Finally, Firo reached her final stage and the ability to change to human form.

I had thought up of this short earlier today...and funny enough, it matches the manga chapter that was recently released

The sun was already hiding behind the mountains and the sky was shifting from orange to purplish colours, so we decided to camp out this night.
Setting up the tents, we prepared our meal and ate together.

After a short chat, everyone went to their respective tent to sleep, while I watched over the campfire.
As usual, Fitoria is snuggled next to me, keeping me company.
Having grown a lot these last few days, and even changed into something different form the average Philo Rial, she still snuggles at my side before I go to sleep.
Fitoria works hard every day so this is the least I can do for her.

Throwing a piece of wood at the fire, I looked up at the starry night sky.

"No matter how many times I see them, I can't recognize these constellations..."
"Kue?"
Looking at me, Fitoria tilts her head.

"It's nothing. Just talking to myself."
I pet Fitoria on the head. Delighted, she closes her eyes while enjoying it.

Even though it's been nearly two months since I was summoned, there's still a part of me that can't believe it.

I thank the old man as I get up.

Taking the old tanuki's advice, I head for my tent but...

...Here we go again. I turn around and face Fitoria.

I feel like I made a mistake raising Fitoria by letting her sleep with me while she was a chick.
Now that she's too big to even fit in a tent, there's no choice but to have her sleep outdoors.

Ugh, don't look at me that way...I'll feel guilty.

After I managed to convince Fitoria, I enter my tent, take off my armor, wrap myself in a blanket and go to sleep.

Though it's a little early to wake up, I'm becoming conscious of my surroundings.
Aside from the warmth, I hear a light breathing next to me.

Realizing that, I force myself to wake up.

Opening my eyes, the first thing I see is white. White hair to be exact...none of my companions have white hair.
I back away slowly, and look at the intruder's face.

I become unable to speak.

Even though a girl I've never seen before is sleeping next to me, I can't help but be amazed.

Aside from the short silvery white hair, she has a well-featured face, pale skin like snow and though the blanket is also covering her, I can tell she has a small and delicate body frame.
The only word I can find to describe her is "beautiful".

...but the fact that she slipped into my tent without me, or anyone else noticing is troubling.

"Hmm?"
I notice that there's a slight bulge on a part of the blanket behind her.
What could be hidden under it? A box? A weapon?
I remind myself that I don't know this girl.
It's best to act while she's still sleeping!

I quickly throw the blanket away and prepare myself.
".................................Eh?"

When the blanket flew out of the way, I saw it...The figure of a girl wearing absolutely nothing.
(...What? Eh? Whaaaaa?!)

"Mmmm~"
Suddenly feeling cold, the girl makes a sound. She opens her eyes, revealing ruby-coloured pupils.
Half asleep, the girl looks around and then up at me who is still surprised at the situation.

"Mas...ter? Master!"
With a happy expression, she jumps towards me and hugs me.

"E-Eh? Eh?! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHH?!"
Still not understanding the situation, I do nothing about the girl clinging onto me.

That's when I notice the wings on her back...an angel? Are there angels in this world?
At that moment, I also hear a set of hurried footsteps heading towards us.

"What's the matter, Kei...ichi...sama?"

I turn my neck and see one of my companions at the tent's entrance.

Right on time. the white-haired girl who has been silent, frowns and speaks up.

Luria and I look at the girl.

"...Onee-chan?"
Luria raises an eyebrow.

"Who are you?"
I ask her and her ruby eyes shift towards me and she smiles.

"It's me, Master! Fitoria!"
