Should be blue flame, seems like it change form and replicate what happened, like a holographic security tape of a crime scene with the investigated item at its center, I think is more limited than Yoyo magic.
Souji created the white magic on the spurt of the moment, but as battle magic is more than good enough, erase/eat/pulverize/incinerate the target in a instant and can follow orders, the kidnapping arc is proof of that.
Using the orange flame he can make weapons or restrain the enemy.
The red flame is a the most normal flame, he can burn his enemies with it.
I don't think he need another magic for battle, after all they can even be used as shield, just weak to water.

Yes, and it will be so, you see how the plot follows both parts? This novel even have shorter chapters than the usual format. If the translators continue to this pace we will see the reunion really soon.

maybe unlike the orange flame, the black flames could be immune-ish to water which is a flame's natural enemy ... besides, the orange flame is used as utilitarian purposed whereas the black flame for more practical purposes...

Make sense, he created the orange flames for helping him in his normal job, using them for battle was already strange, is possible if the flames are used for something different than the normal purpose their effectiveness is lower.
I thought black flame would be used for something more abuurd but a military power is ok.
