So, when we talk about a light novel about making light novels, what do we think of?

I'm a High School Student and a Bestselling Light Novel author, strangled by my female classmate who is my junior and a voice actress (男子高校生で売れっ子ライトノベル作家をしているけれど、年下のクラスメイトで声優の女の子に首を絞めら れている。)

Spoiler for Synopsis for volume 1:

I'm a high school student who became an author after debuting at Dengeki Bunko. After taking a year of hiatus from school to write my work, I transferred out to another high school to study, and met a girl called Nitadori Eri (Japanese format) in school, a rookie voice actress casted as a character in the anime adaptation of my work.

In school, we treat our professions as a secret. However, Nitadori's very popular in class, and I'm a loner...the only chance we get to talk to each other is when we take the Limited Express train together every Thursday, seated side by side as for head off for an anime After Recording.

To improve her skills, she asked me questions regarding the profession. While I was answering the questions regarding the process--how did it end up like this.

This is what I last remembered before I lost consciousness, and the story of my near-death experience (走馬燈のような).

PS: I spent the last week vacationing from translating just to check out this series (not like I got any choice. My computer got wrecked again). Easily my favorite series for the year.

I think this is current record holder for the longest title.

Isn't Eromanga-sensei also an LN about an LN author and his illustrator imouto?

I've heard of this & its ridiculously long title (wasn't it on purpose & is obviously taking a shot on such LN naming trend?).

Also, I'm quite fond of this author & his works so color me intrigued...

It's actually very boring at the start, but a light novel about an author writing a light novel is kinda meta.

He writes a story titled 'Vice Versa', where one ordinary high school boy ends up transported to another world, meets a mirror image of himself in the other fantastical world, and through all sorts of stuff in that one world, he ends up going back to his world at the end of the volume...and found that the mirror image followed him to this world.

I'll like to promote this series not because of the ridiculousness of the story, but for how informative it is. It gets very dry though, so I came up with the very...bored version.

I even chuckled when they greeted readers and when author said that he will never make a long title.

Technically, Sukasuka has 3 sentences in its title (3 questions: shuumatsu nani shitemasu ka? Isogashii desuka? sukutte moratte ii desu ka ? ). It's quite long too, but not as long as this one x).

Record holder of the longest title indeed? Going from "kino no tabi" to such a long title is quite a gap.
I'm not really interested in a story about a young LN author though~.
