The entire Agano class could definitely use Kai 2 that either give +10 firepower and +5 HP, or the fourth slot, without touching their consumption. The uncertainty here is Konishi.

I'd kinda like to see a Murasame KaiNi, other than that entire Takao Class as well as an alternative KaiNi for U-511...
Oh and Yamato + Musashi as well as the carriers.

I'm not exactly worried about him, moreso since he became quite active recently (Nowaki, Suzukuma art for a kuji clear file, Kongou kai ni and Shoukaku sisters eyecatch for the anime).

Rather, I'm still wondering what kind of criteria the developpers are following, because things are beyond murky on that matter. While it is obvious some kai ni are due to the artist going gung ho (Bob and Parsley notably), others are... random like Hatsuharu.

I'm imagining the staff, on a very KanColle-like manner, choosing a class and then use a lottery to decide the next ship to get kai ni. Then afterwards they may also add some of the sister ships together.

I guess if reasonable hopes are to be placed then I would like them to finish the kuma class kai-ni-fication.

I don't know. He got quite a bit of flak for Kongou class's Kai 2 arts, and I'm not sure if he's ready to create Kai 2 art again so soon. I imagine most of the Kai 2 backlog is related to him or Yadokari. Speaking of Hatsuharu, we might actually see Tenryuu or Tatsuta Kai 2. With any luck, by the same token more Yadokari ships will receive Kai 2 as well.

I won't hold my breath on any of those.
Murasame got new art for her Kai, so she's probably not high on the list.
I have no idea what the artist for Takao and Atago is doing recently, but it's probably not related to Kancolle.
Kai 2 for Ro-500 is possible, but alternative Kai 2 for U-511? Probably not.
Yamato class Kai 2 is said to come with the fifth equipment slot a LONG time ago. Same for Shinano.

Does Ro-500 still have the same consumption and repair time as U-511? I see that she's still a submarine after upgrade, not Aircraft Carrying Submarine. Same question with Imuya and Maruyu too. I still want to use them for Orel cruising but I'm not sure about this.

Yes to both. Do note that repair time also increases with kanmusus' level so it's unavoidible. That's why many players have more than 1 team of SS for rotation.

As for Ro - yeah unlikely, but yeah currently a lot of people rather screw the torpedo than upgrading her to KaiNi (I will do the same btw)

Yep, people who've been an admiral long enough will usually have a single squad of high-leveled subs, and another one (usually with half the level and not even upgraded) for rotation.

Unless you happen to be a power-gaming min-maxer.

Hmm, thinking of remodeling the Akatsuki sisters, Fubuki and Murakumo but since I use them for some expeditions, I'm not sure if that's the best idea. What do you guys think?

I do want her Kai 2 but I'm trying to finish 2-4 and grinding Kitakami and Ooi so I put her in expedition duty for now.

Most (or all?) DDs don't change their fuel/ammo consumption by turning Kai. Some also don't change when they turn Kai ni. For example, Yudachi and Fubuki still have the same 15/20 consumption at their kai nis. While Hibiki's one change to 15/25 when she turns into Верный.

For a 3-2 Boss, should I go with a 10cm x 2, 1x Torpedo setup or 2x Torpedo 1x 10cm?

10cm x2 + whatever. I personally like to give 3 of them (with higher luck) the torps and the other 3 a radar.
