I hope the writer knows how to make the conversational nature of the TRPG script fits nicely into the anime medium. How much game aspects would the director include like the battlefield overhead and such? The visual and production is definitely the biggest thing I'm worry about considering the studio involved. The music do sound fantastic though

Hey, the comments were the best part of the replay. All plot and no ooc chatter makes for too grimdark an atmosphere.

As much I love their ooc talk, it's rather hard to incorporate them into anime narrative.

Although, maybe they can insert some highlights as omake or something.

I don't think there's a TypeMoon work yet that he hasn't had a role in, so I definitely see him in this (even if it isn't officially TypeMoon, when you get both Nasu and Urobuchi in the same product, it becomes a pseudo TM work).

After reading some of the translated chapters (aka all in Beast's Lair), I kinda think it was a good move for the studio to be Silver Link.
Silver Link has that decent to above average animation plus they have that stylistic stuff that could only be from being part of Shaft once and finding their own stuff. Combined with the transcript, they could make it like this:
A large table with map and figures on it and surroundings are dark black with the Players (represented by their ingame characters) for infodumping, exposition and Player-FM stuff. Fade the Players into black to represent them leaving the table as it does happen.
Animation for scenes obviously but cut into table when explaining (like in the second action scene). Then put chibi heads on screen with the scene animation for stuff like:

Eiha: Okay, then I’ll jump over to where the other four are and attack! (Moves piece) Three attacks again! Gobble gobble gobble! (Laughs)
Swallow: That “Gobble gobble” is so uncute! (Laughs)

Yeah, the OOC stuff better be in it and Silver Link better be creative with it

Apparently the changes were made with consent by original creator, so yes, Urobuchi was fine with his character being genderbended.

The rest look good though.

Word from Beast's Lair is fem!Buchi calls it "Your Highness" now instead of "Princess", so it's likely been genderbent as well (though it could still be female).

Eiha looks more cutesy but I hope that's her outfit after THAT incident. Also, I hope she goes more beast-like in battle, a stark contrast is most welcome

Lol Urobuchi.... So Lou is now a yandere female assassin rather than a yandere male assassin. I do hope his antics are the same, it's kinda unisex to be as edgy as Urobuchi self insert
Swallow got lighter armour (makes sense) and his "curse" seems like it would only appear when he does the thing rather than his "curse" being in plain view always.
Kaguraba is still rocking the same thing. The drill, wings and machine gun is attachable so this may be his default form.

I just hope that Eiha's clothing is after a certain event which is at the beginning of the story.
She is pretty much from a race that is looked down by others and she was a slave before that event.

In other words, she should be more unhealthy and wrecked at the beginning. Then stuff happens, she meets up with the rest of the group and probably by then, she and Val would have those outfits.

Though I still find it funny that Urobuchi and his sword got genderbent considering his reasoning for doing something to a certain character in the story.
