I personally think her vision is a red-hearings. The way the scene is interpreted isn't necessarily the right interpretation. To start with, we have no idea how far into the future that is. Also, the Fafners were not destroyed like they should be. Festums don't pick up someone's arm to stab them with it...

That actually point toward an attack by humans...

Canon's ability probably shows her the possible ways the future could turn out to be, rather than visions of a fixed future. This is implied in the battle when she had three possible future readings to choose from.

In a way, Ubukata is continuing his trend of making Canon choose, or rather, decide for herself what she really wants.

I'm just afraid that down the road she will "choose" a future where she dies for the greater good / Kazuki.



Soushi's doom and gloom proclamations at the end of every episode is seriously depressing. Stuff it Soushi we get it already, we're gonna sacrifice someone to appease the giant rock in the sky. Take your pick why don't you, all of them are practically riddled with death flags at this point.

Yeah, that's kind of like my greatest fear because the D-Island kids are hesitant about fighting other humans. Maybe Soushi could do it. I can't really picture any of the others fighting back. I guess it'll come down to their "new" human allies if it turns out to be a human vs human conflict.

Since Altair hasn't arrived yet and Miwa hasn't meet with it directly, I'm pretty sure that Fafner Exodus will be aired in 26 episodes. Misao or his reincarnation must be appears again as a recurring character.

Btw, Canon is great and also one of the most developed character in Fafner series. From ordinary human being who simply follows the orders, starting her new life in Tatsumiyajima, gradually opens her heart with the others, getting new mom, able piloting Nothung model Fafner, changing her hair and outfit syle twice, becoming technician of Alvis and then she gains premonition ability to see the future. Only one remains unsolved, will she finally get Kazuki's affection? Canon, use your premonition! This is your chance to know whether Kazuki has romantic feeling to you or not!

I agree that Misao Kurusu will appear (and save the day) since he took a liking to both Soshi and Kazuki and he said in the movie that they'll meet again, he's now a Mir, not a Festum anymore. I can see a tsundere reincarnation of him messing with both of them like Orihime with Seri.

I'm happy with Canon and Sakura got more roles but it seems like that their burdens will be greater than younger pilots, especially Canon since I like her more and more (she got better character development than Maya through the series). I think the future she saw is just one of the futures because her mech showed that she can change and choose a future.

I haven't heard further release plans for other character songs, but I hope they will do it.

They will release new character songs album for Kazuki, Soushi and Maya on 22 May 2015. According to official site, Kazuki's new chara songs: Fighting and Chain of Life, Maya's new chara songs: Angel arrow and Orenji no Kaze (Orange Wind), and Soushi's new chara songs: Philosophia and Licht.

Yes, Koyo too since he became the core of Mark Vier. But comparing to other characters, he don't have a role anymore (and HaE even didn't mention about him in the end).

Maya character is stable but it's becoming boring, I remember liked her but now I start to feel like anything she says is right .
