They are not. I dont know how you can even remotely get that from the source.

Most adventurers can't actually read the celestial script, but they all understand how levels, stats, and more work. It is considered taboo to look or ask to see. This comes up later and may likely not be touched upon during the anime due to how many volumes I expect it to cover.

Everything is under trial and error and reporting. That's what advisers aka the guild does.

The exact delegation is via gods and not humans.

And even gods don't understand it given the "intuition problems seen" The numbers can sort of be read as in the elf scenario, but those are meaningless depending on how the gods write their script (aka handwriting) and vast amount of unknowns like growth, multipliers, ranks, skills, etc. In fact In volume 4, what she read is the Rank of stats rather then stats if I remember right, A-S-SS etc

The blessing is way too big of a plot device in this series to be degraded to a one-go thing. I just don't see how people are trying to make it such even if it's one episode.

Everybody in Japan seems to like her, if you can base it off the multiple pages on Pixiv containing art of only Hestia. And that was when I was using the LN name as the key phrase in the search.

It's not bad, though. I just hope they give some attention to the other characters later on.

Anyway I wonder how J.C. Staff will do adapting this since I have low expectations for adaptations.

It's nice seeing the various mechanics though. Hestia with black hair kinda surprised me though.

Only a few pages still, but I'm sure that will change with time.

I can't honestly imagine that myself...

Well, I read the manga, so I knew how Bell thinks from the get go, no surprises for me. It is funny how our hero's main motivation is to get lovey dovey with the hot warrior girl.

I think 70% of the episode's budget was given to Hestia. You will like her, eventually.

At this rate, they don't need to spend money to establish loli big boobs nickname. It's just naturally appears in the viewer's mind.

I really hate how SAO contaminated the entire field. SAO has the most bigoted system in mainstream. It break, bends, and just completely makes up nonsense even to its own rules for the sake of some drama and fanservice. It's terrible writing on a technical level.

Don't make other rpg-fantasy works degrade to the level of SAO writing. You can world build and make a good story, not one or the other.

I wonder how the director will swing it though. Technically speaking Dan Machi's death count is hugely outrageous compare to the likes of SAO and the like. Sure they're all stand-ins but keeping with the lighter side of the series or swinging to the "Death is an every day thing" of the Dan machi world is a bit harder when animated.

I don't really like SAO bashing, it gets tiring after 3 years. All I have to say is that it helped get me back into reading Light Novels and the fantasy/VRMMO genre after .Hack, so it has a special place in my heart that causes me to have as much of a kneejerk reaction as the critics.

As for the hair color, I guess crazy anime hair just warped my hair sensibilities.

Yeah, I also read the manga/LN, can't really say much in that front.
