Going to be exciting watching this for new materials (looking like Shiki will be the focus rather than SM), and for Ibuki playing a somewhat different role from her typecasting. According to publication chronology, Four Seasons as a series is more recent, and interconnected with SM, V, and Hundred Years. I was suggested to read all four series before watching the anime from a person who has read all(!) of Mori's works, but she's a fanatic so probably not going to heed her advice. Then again, if they are going to adapt 5 novels in the span of what I assume to be 1 cour, then maybe I should read the novels first (only have 9 volumes left to read anyway). I assume Perfect Insider is going to take 2 episodes at least, then I still have a month from now to catch up on all the contents. Anyway, there's a manga that serves as a lead up to the anime. Link's just a preview (19/50 pages). Worth checking out even if you can't find the whole thing. |

WOW!!! Rotoscope done right in my opinion. You get the best out of the movement and choreography, but also adding in fantastical elements with the images! Seki's pretty damn awesome. This show's getting me wayyyy too hyped.
Linking ED too for completion, and also pretty good. Last edited by Kunagisa; 2015-10-01 at 01:57. |
