That's not even close to definitive. Anything that wasn't properly stated can be worked out without breaking continuity. Takeru x Hikari is plenty possible without retconing anything.

I personally don't care for that pairing though.

I think it's because for some it was their earliest "shipping" in a fandom with lots of pairings. So now that it's coming back, people have a lot of strong feelings associated to it.

When I saw Sora in Tri Series , I became glad that Tai didn't married her!
Now Tai is free to be with anyone including Mimi or new glasses-girl.

I actually supported Davis X Kari.
Because I find it more ''Challenging'' .

Only one I don't like is Toushiro, they should have gone with a male seiyuu just like with Taichi and Takeru.

I actually ship Tai with Lillthmon !
She look more attractive then other Digimon despite being a Bad digimon.

So many human-like Digimon !
This anime can seriously has a Human X Monster Romance unlike Pokemon.
Just imagine , The Next Protagonist of Digimon is a half Human & Half Digimon Hybrid !!

Well, the CD Dramas are all written by a member of staff (they have never said that CD Dramas aren't canon). Natsu e no Tobira is written by Genki Yoshimura (one of the two series compositor of 02). So, I think this CD Dramacan be considered official.

There are doubts because of the appearance of Wallace, but they have never said that the third film isn't canon. I know this film has many inconsistencies with the anime. However, the games of Ryo also have huge inconsistencies with the anime, but these should be considered canon (because the dreams of Ken).
