Just saw the episode w/ subs. It was indeed the weakest episode but I still think it was fine. I only have a problem with the fact that the 1st talk with Haruno was so short and that 2nd was omitted.
At least now we are almost certain that Yui was eavesdropping on Hikki and Yukinon. |

Episode was rushed, but certain things becoming clearer were really good. If they really do dabble in adapting volume 11, that's going to be interesting. The quality didn't go down despite being rushed, so that's good. Some things were omitted though.

Every scene felt like 1-2 minutes before it jumped to the next scene. Also, they didn't really explain the marathon race earlier on so it would have been confusing for anime-only watchers to know what was going on and why. Dat infirmary scene. |

Or you know, it's just an anime-exclusive preview. |

Anyone else think's that after episode 12, the final episode will be something more original to adapt the last chapter of volume 10? That talk with Haruno? Since season 1 adapted all material in 12 episodes and added an original material (with Watari's help of course) I though that something similar could happen this season too (except that the episode would be released before the volume). So I hope that the last episode be written by Watari just like the other two speciais in season 1. But even so I have a bad feeling about this, if the issue of the talk between Hikki and Haruno wasn't solved in volume 11, then when will be? Or at least it will be resolved? In that case I hope they just adapt half of volume 11 and that the rest of volume deal with the issue of that talk.

Oh yeah 13 episodes. I wonder how they will do 12 and 13 since 11 adapted the rest of 10. Would be interesting if they go with an anime original ending. If they do go that route, they should take notes from Akame Ga Kill and don't go that way.

I think in majority of cases anime original endings should occur more frequently, just with much better quality. The reason for it the series would of promoted the other materials while also urging them to go to these other materials to find out the true ending.
It's a marketing ploy, but something I would promote since it offers more then one ending and one could placate fans who didn't enjoy the other ending. That's just my opinion. |
