Hades was the real deal though! Not to mention M. Geer, he took on 3 DS, 1 DeS and the spirit king before going down. Oh, there's also Acnologia, he kinda blasted half the guild away along with their island :P
Anyway, since all of the council members shown so far have been rather weak, I don't expect much from the two currently standing at the top, but the western kingdom's elite 12 should be a different story. P.S: God Serena doesn't look like much of a god...maybe it's just a title? |

And Hiro has prevented an uprising with Team B.
Actually, the Japanese blogs on the chapter I've read consistently spell it with a ベ (be) instead of a ペ (pe). And since the next chapter seems to be a transliteration of "Caracole", a Spanish word, it may make sense to call this the "Alvarez" Empire after all.

More and more lately with this series I find myself interested in stuff not involving the main plot or even the main cast for the most part.
It's the small stuff or the "B-side" of things that tend to be of more interest, like the revival of Team B, way more exciting that anything else going on atm, even more so that the no.1 mage looks alot like Yuri. Wonder what Gil's role will be in all this later on, just hope he's not used in the same way as before, showing up taking on one guy and then thats it. We need to see old Gil really show all these punks how to whoop some ass.

Well, he is most likely going to be used in this arc, taking into account the numbers and caliber of the opponents that FT will be facing - unless Ishgar somehow gets the support of Sprigan and his kingdom...

Hmmm ... wonder who will be the ones fighting the 12 sprigan well there's Natsu, Erza, Gray, Laxus, & Gajeel on FT(Gildarts if his joining the fray).
All I can say it's WAR!!! Hope to see the other guilds participate in the war against Alvarez.

Even if other guild would participate they'll likely get sidelined and treated like nothing just to make fairy tail look better. Also the whole "War" term in general tends to get used a lot despite the fact nothing of value has been lost in Fairy Tail guild in general. At least those are my thoughts.

On top of that FT main characters don't kill humans (despite killing demons and gods) so its unlikely there will be any major casualties. |

Erza could have easily still been involved in the conflict and not go venturing off, did everyone just completely forget that Alvarez wants the Lumen Histoire? She could have remained behind to defend it, which does raise a major problem with her decision, she's deciding to leave the rest of Fairy Tail undefended and completely oblivious to the possible invasion. Obviously, everything will work out, but that is one hell of a major bad decision as a guildmaster. Second half was good, though. I just hope the reveals will actually hold some significance and not to just make Fairy Tail out to look even more amazing.
