Apparently first episode is to be aired in less than 3 hours now. I am pretty excited now, Dragon Ball Super was better than I expected so I hope Madhouse can deliver.

chapter 7 was crap....... they are trying to finish 2 volumes in 8 chapters. is like the manga author doesn't even care anymore. He must be thinking:man,drawing is such a bother,let's just put some fighting scenes in it and the fans will love it. forget about skipping such much dark humor and 80% of the book,they don't even bother explaining the story anymore. It's like: things just happen and if we don't understand we should read the book.....

the only way 1 cour anime can get to vo5 and 6 (seb arc) is to do 2 ep a vol. In which cast the anime is not a adaption but a commercial for the LN.

I legitimately want to know. I only read the manga prior to the anime. I tried to read the LN online, but... I couldn't get into that format.

An okay episode but a lot of stuff got cut, I don't mind the small details like how Ainz inner monolog (he had a lot of that to explain a lot of things to the readers) for example but they even skipped the moment of the guardians man that was a let down. If this series was 20+ episode i think the prologue of the first volume should reach episode 2.

Overlord is a very heavy content book as far as a animes go there is no choice but to make concessions.

Lets just hope they dont rush up to book5 or 6.If they do we are done.Lets hope that the parts in OP is just them stirring fans and making them curious about LN.
