In few words rather silly episode Better than episode 1 for sure, at least for me.

Definitely liked the first episode better.

The formidable cleaning ladies part was funny, but otherwise... I dunno. Maybe it's the very clean and sharp art design, the lackluster music, and the mostly underwhelming characters, but this Aquarion really doesn't seem to have the heart and passion that an Aquarion show needs to have.

Also, this gattai sucks. 1) Only two people, really? Where are the delicious threesomes?! 2) Where are the drawn-out spiritual orgasms? 3) ONLY TWO PEOPLE? :/ And while I like the kanji Frankensteining, why would you even need a giant robot for that? Where are the awesomely hilarious moves and silly attack names? Pffft.

As for the characters, tbh I'm not really feeling them. I'm fine with Akira, but I'm really not into Maya and her dynamics with Akira, and the "team banter" scene about Hayato the Milk Man (lol?) didn't really work either. I'm really a lot more interested in Subete-kun, and whether Sougon is this world's Gen or not.

Btw, I'm still holding out hope that Maya is an angel... come to think of it, both Touma and Mykage had white "hair" and purple eyes. Although on the other hand I'm hoping she's not Touma/Mykage, that would be such a disappointing cop-out, what with her being a girl. Let the poor angel stay a guy!

Honestly, I'd shelve the reincarnation theories for now. Because if we really wanted to draw parallels, it'd be more...

Sougon == Touma/Mykage
Sakurako == Apollonius
Given their exact role parallel, complete with Sakurako stealing Sougon's Vectors machines(AKA stealing the wings of Apollonius)

However, this doesn't fit well at all, so we probably should attempt to draw the parallels already. Not to mention the basic premise is that an element pilot is so rare with the development of words sliding further and further away from the true meaning on the word side, mostly due to the increase in slang and such, according to the backstory settings.

Evol follows Sousei tv, so they're the same universe though.

For that matter Shin and Yuno's universe might be Logos's universe as well.

Logos and OVA showa are separate for sure, considering that Yuno has that universe's copy of the Book of Sousei. and Sougon has the Logos copy. Additionally, we have a total of 5 different kanji for Sousei right now...

In literal translation

Sousei Evol OVA: Creation Momentum

Wow....this is really underwhelming. It's like the amount of energy in the action scenes are "eh...go...Aquarion...or whatever."

My god the characters are boring and there is just no punch to this thing. I had issues with Evol and how some things turned out, but it being boring was never the issue.

The humor isn't lending itself to any relevancy, the intelligence of the characters is stupid even by Aquarion standards, the characters themselves have literally no story, development, or personality going for them, and the action scenes aren't even exciting let alone have enough weight to get me interested in what happens.

Decided to give this show another chance. Bored as hell. There is no energy in this show at all. Where the hell was the orgasmic merge scene? The music? The shouting? Anything? The battle was so underwhelming I can't even begin to describe it The plot is so thin it might as well be non existent.

I thought this was quite fun ^_^' Pretty standard, low on action, maybe, but fun anyways.

But I still think using a silly dress up cafe as a cover is possibly the most ridiculous thing so far I can't even take that captain lady seriously, but perhaps that's the point.

Those cleaning ladies are badass.

If Sakurako's explanation is correct, basically, if left alone, the kanji will become MJBK on their own eventually if not systematically cleared out, which means Deava still loses. Deava is basically fighting a full on attrition battle against all the kanji. Sougon's just there to speed the process up since he's got access to the full "movelist" that is the Sousei no Sho so to speak.

Assuming it's one of the parallel worlds the OVA mentions, it's also possible they know of EVOL either from the book, or from getting a transmission of it like Shin hacked into EVOL's universe with his radio thing, and based the anime EVOL from that (Or they hacked the universe and broadcast actual events from it as an anime)

Interesting that the figures are all the popular characters in EVOL (so not Amata and Mikono) except Zessica isn't there.

its a wonder how Maiya who lived a military life since she was a child, being a literal child super soldier, is defeated by a bunch of janitors, unless those ladies happens to be also backup Aquarion pilots hence why they are allowed near Vectors with low security measures

for a high tech facility Deava sure has a slow repair time for their damaged units, i mean we saw them attempting to repair Hayato's Vector with nothing but hand tools!! didn't they also have like automated repair bays or using robotic tools for that matter, that functions in the same manner as their Vector launching bays?
