Finally we're able to seen this animated, although Miyu is doing nothing but reading..

What did I just watch?

I did not hate it.

I am wondering when feces will be hitting any rotor devices though.

Everything suddenly became very SoL for some reason.

Already explained earlier in the thread. There's very little manga 2wei material left at the start of the season. With the speed of an anime episode compared to a manga page it'll gobble through the remaining material even quicker. Definitely impossible to stretch out into 10 episodes, so the Slice of Life/Comedy chapters and Anime Only material had to be used to fill out the 10 episodes, it's unavoidable.

Even though I this spin off show Iliya as the main character and Shirou is not.
I still would like to see about this story on Shirou's side.
There's Rin and Luvia there so.
Nanaki's sister Nanami was it?
Since that frog incident Nanaki must have been holding grudges against those two.
Iliya's daily life episodes are entertaining as when she is fighting.

I'm in a bit of a divide here. I liked the episode for what it is. But I lament the fact that there is no depressing magical girl deconstruction going on.

What the show needs now is Shirou in a maid costume. Illya would go insane, Mimi and Suzuka would start foaming at the mouth, Rin would stammer a bit about "Why are you dressed that way?" while blushing before she volunteered to get him out of those clothes, Luvia would complement him on how good he looked and say how she did not know he was into that but she liked it, Kuro would just be egging people on while having a great time, and Miyu would be standing there trying to figure out what was going on.

I would find it kinda funny if that Shirou turned out to be an actual magus like his normal counterpart and was forced to reveal himself when things go hairy.

The manner how the characters' expressions moved and behaved in this episode felt more as if were puppets, or made to move by episode guidelines instead of the other way around; summary, felt weird and artificial the faces that Illya and the others made.

Summing up a long story short, distinct preferences give birth to different tropes and tastes, and real friends must encourage friends in need whether for help, advice, or confiding weird hobbies.

Just don't let your creepy hobbies spiral out of control, or else you'll soon be left alone craving for more of your hobbies, and, eventually becoming a shut-in.

So I'm sloooowly catching up with this series but ...

Out of the remaining chapters they animated THIS ONE? This is by far the funniest 2wei 3rei chapter and I have absolutely no complaints!
