Lots of info in the volume. We finally get another clue on the antagonists.

Ren getting to keep the Spirit Sword was a nice addition. Back in the first volume though, it was said that the sword lost its sheath long ago so I wonder how they're going to tackle that issue. I wanna see how everyone will react to Vierge being gone from its place

You have no idea how much it is confusing for me.

but I get the feeling Sekai no owari no encore is linked to the author other books as S.I.R.E.N which takes place in a technological world where summon skills are researched and where dragon/demon/angel used to live

That makes three of us. The info-dump regarding the opposition confounds me.

Actually, on the S.I.R.E.N-Encore connection, it isn't really unlikely. Aside from the alforementioned setting, this author is also the author of a previous work called Hyouketsu Kyoukai no Eden and two prequels to it, which both were set in different time periods (the prequels, I mean), rather similar to the case of S.I.R.E.N and Encore.

Fire and Earth spirits are really practical elements for manufacturing, weapon smith, hunting. I wonder if he's going to get a Darkness or Light spirit sometime.

There's going to a battle between Ren and 'someone' where Elise's marriage is on the line. If Ren loses, then he has to marry Elise.
Since we had Fear fall for Ren on v3, we finally get Elise focus volume (though she had more of the main girl position on v4 compared to other girls).

Not really sure at this point. I just got the information from the synopsis of v5 and the colour illustration.
Hopefully it would be a good read. Just 6 more days till release...cant wait.

Like it was stated in previous page, this series is hinting a link with author's other work 'SIREN'.
TBH, I read SIREN (just the first volume) but it was quite...dull/boring. I have v2 to v5 waiting to be read on my shelf, but its boring compared to his other works.
