After watching it....

Oh my. So the Earth itself is an aragami. Well exterminating the harmful parasites (Humans) it would make sense.

Poor Lenka. His "gift", is his downfall.

What i Deduced from some thinking, the oracle cells are the planet's self defense against humans (or any other harmful species).

The earth created these monsters, and I think the Aegis plan is somekind of a weapon (maybe a big God arc - just like a sword in the stone aimed at Earth to destroy the Aragami)

Well, as a penultimate episode this doesn't fail to deliver.

Lenka's gonna die.
Alisa asks for her fear to be taken away.
Lindow discovers Aegis' true form.
Massive Aragami operation.

Looks like the next and final episode will go into Soma. Preview implies he killed his mother.

Just God Eater Burst from PSP (resurrection is new addon after burst storyline)... This ep showed things that was only mentioned in the game so anime could work as game prequel.

Anyway, good episode and maybe this anime din't followed game storyline, but it's fun to watch, so it's sad that they ending it.

That's simply the TV broadcast schedule.
Considering the countless delays, it is unlikely they would be able to secure more TV slots for the other episodes, hence why episode 9 is listed as the last episode.

To begin with, rules with TV stations are very strict, and I don't even remember if any series production committee could ever extent the broadcast issue at all.

I also don't remember such thing. Bakemonogatari had 15 episodes, but last ones was streamed via official site and from newer series Kekkai Sensen is good example how hard is to fit episode into next season schedule.

The animation and the background art are simply stunning and breathtaking. The last scene was awesomely made.

That's the only thing I can say though, not really fascinated by the plot but I don't dislike it. I like Alisa's PTSD story the most.

So the rest will be released as OVAs I guess? Oh well it's been a nice ride. I can't play the game so waiting is the only solution for me.

That honestly seems to be the best thing they could have done. Too manu delays really messed this up.

Did they really just retcon Lenka's God Arc breaking because of the Dyaus Pita to it breaking because his Aragami power level was too high?

Not a bad episode. A lot going on there with that one mission and setting things up for a pretty busy conclusion.

Is a bit of a shame they had to rework things due to the delays and fallings behind. Hopefully the last episode still impresses.
