Huh... I take back what I said about Amazing Exia and Hyaku Shiki.
Also... I am both super excited that we're finally getting 1/100 Reborns (arguably my favorite Gundam).... and totally feel down that its going to be just sub-MG status. Goddamnit, Bandai! |

Oh good, finally 1/100 Gaia. My 1/100 Chaos won’t be lonely anymore .
And 1/100 Xi will be a massive 1/100 Gundam model. Well…..probably not as massive as 1/100 Perfect Zeong or Nightingale, but still. All in all, I’m excited by those line-up (yay for Barzam & Reborns).

However if you are willing to shell out some more cash: The HGCE Strike Rouge is a kit and so is the old HG Strike Rouge IWSP which are sold separately, however the Striker packs ARE compatible so if you get both kits you can make a HGCE Strike Rouge IWSP |

This is the HGCE Strike Rouge, with AILE Striker pack. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10255374 This is the HG SEED Strike Rouge with IWSP pack. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10037353 Both come with the MS. It's just that the HGCE is a newer version of the Strike Rouge. The HGCE Strike rogue and HGCE Strike are both based on the Build Strike frame. ALL HG 1/144 Strike kits are compatible with ALL 1/144 (HG and no grade) Striker packs. That means the HGCE Strike Rogue can use the HG Strike Rogue IWSP, the HG Perfect Strike pack, and the HG Strike Noir pack with no issues at all.

I like Gundam, started with Wing like almost every other NA fan when I was a kid I used to build really basic military craft model kits (the cheap ones) when I was younger too so that probably contributed One day I finally picked up Gundam again with 00 (no gundam at all for me after Wing ended). Then sometime afterwards (around S2 release) me and my brother happened across some 00 S2 1/200 kits in Canada and bought them for teh lulz. Shortly after we find ourselves in Seattle WA, and found a model shop loaded with Japanese import kits and we got ourselves some 00 HGs. The addiction kicked in and the rest is history I like them as they're DIY, but not as much work from the get-go (unlike military models) unless you decide to make them so. They're cheaper than action/collectible figures for the most part Primarily use them as display models in a lighted glass cabinet/display shelf from IKEA |
