Ah, I remember only 2 times that were made a big deal of (in 静かな夜のまじわり where Miho "passes on", and the one from 眷属として、ご主人様として , where they do it "secretly" in the fort where everyone is saying.), after that it was pretty normal for them to snu so it didn't got a huge wind up. If I was the author I would leave it vague so I could give myself some breathing room if I wanted to add more story content involving the colony survivors that hadn't been introduced(created) in the story yet. Or I would probably wait until near the ending when I'm trying to wrap-up the story.

Because once you give a definite number then that's it, it would be difficult later on when your trying to make the story head in a different direction that might contradict an established fact that was said somewhere in the beginning of the story.

A WN with a certain spider is kinda having the same problem regarding the number of reincarnated students and what was previously said in the beginning of the story.(but that could just be the author F'ing with us.)

Speaking of new chapters, there's a new raw one as well.

Spoiler for Chapter 110:

The chapter's mostly slice of life and magic details. I gotta say, this series probably has the best casual harem interactions (especially the relationship between the girls), even if he's technically only in one romantic relationship. The harem itself also gives a better camaraderie and cozy feelings than most other harems, placing the harem itself probably at the top of my list. Probably helps there's no obvious tsunderes in it, for once?

Also, volume 5 is coming out at the end of December or something. Which means more character designs soon, maybe.
