Rindou mentioned "several" members, which by definition, is more than 2 or 3, but not many. I think we can safely assume 1 and 2 are the strongest in the own rights, whereas the rest aren't following a linear pattern. So can we then assume he's the strongest of the 2nd years, maybe better than even 1 or 2 of the 3rd years? I believe so, unless the dark horse Isshiki is being factored out. |

We've already seen seniority isn't a restrictive thingy, as shown by Azami's position during his 1st year. Remember the autumn leaf-viewing? When Souma asked for a Shokugeki, Eizan, Yugi, and Nene all said "no", to which Yugi said the 2nd years have their hands full trying to take down the 3rd years. So that could imply there's a (perhaps noticeable) gap from 1-5 to 6-10. |

As you move higher up the seats, your authority will also increase (which ties in hand with the resources and privileges granted), and from a business POV, its definitely right up Eizan's alley. Like I said, rewind to the Autumn leaf-viewing, and Yugi was not speaking for himself, but on behalf of the 2nd years, when he said they have their hands full trying to defeat the 3rd years. |

Once the 3rd years graduate, spots 1-5 will be open, and given his alleged strength, it's hard not to see him snagging either the 1st or 2nd seat. Assuming Azami is still in power after March, then the above is all but guaranteed (Nene may have also struck a deal to get a higher seating once the 3rd years graduate, for all we know). |

Rindou's word of god? The next thing you knows she will say the same thing to Soma when he was facing other Elite 10 members. Rindo: Soma, do you know who are you dealing with now? Soma: Enlighten me. Rindo: Nene is the best cook in the world. If she try enough, she can even beat us. Soma: I think I heard that phrase before. Rindo: You do? Chapter's up.
Seems like Souma has something up his sleeve, but it really doesn't matter, as he'd still get his butt kicked, pretty bad (at least the judges will taste his dish). LOL @ Souma thinking that Eizan can't cook, btw. |

well, cant say im against eizans thoughts
people becoming chiefs because of money is the reason i can understand the most, but if he was so fixated on becoming rich, shouldnt he have visited a economy school? im sure purely working with money makes someone a lot faster rich than cooking |

Man, I loved everything about Eizan this chapter, it reminds be an even yankier version of Himekawa...umm no, Himekawa is still better but my point is that it was good.
So Soma said that he wants to show something to Eizan, Im expecting something like "the pride of the PSD" going by the whole "nakama powa" some guys said the last week cause aside from that, cants see something fitting for the match and context.

It really depends. Running a mega food conglomerate can also generate billions, you know (and he is skilled in cooking, so..)? You don't really need to be a high-stakes trader, hedge-fund manager, etc, to be fabulously wealthy. |

it is as if you only do basketball for the money and you are actually really good in it but the same would have been true if you simply directly went into the management where money would come without the side-effort of training for the sport/learning for the shokugeki |
