There is nothing called perfect Nascent soul. Basically, he have multiple one with different elements, 7 if i remember correctly, It is way later at the end of the Tribal war arc, mind you, except the frozen family part, this arc is rather bad end eventually made me drop this.

without spoiling anything else beside it... is she the mother of Meng Hao or the Resurrection Lily?

She was called with the same surname as Meng Hao, but supposedly she only looked at the Resurrection Lily. The guy who gave it to Meng Hao, Patriarch Revelation, seemed to be a subordinate of that "Immortal Li", as far as I could read from the conversation between Patriarch Reliance and Patriarch Revelation (Immortal Li = Meng Li? If not, is she connected to that "Immortal Li" somehow?). Is it the case that Patriarch Revelation simply gave the RL to Meng Hao because he coincidently had the same surname (similar to how Chu Feng got adopted to his family based on the name being coincidently the same in MGA), or was perhaps raised to be the "host" of the RL to begin with? Or is it some completely insane plot like the RL actually being a previous incarnation of Meng Hao...

ahh, this is so confusing... someone give me an answer please without going too much into detail, i.e. only whose mother Meng Li is directly or undirectly without any further details, thank you.

ISSTH officially ended yesterday at chapter 1614! Here's a few interesting trivia that I compiled (contains spoilers).

Trivia

Spoiler:

• More than a trillion years (rough estimate) went by between the start and the end of the story.
• Menghao never reached the highest cultivation stage even at the end of the story.
• To complete the 9th seal, Menghao's clone had to go through 9 reincarnations where each incarnation was tasked with completing a single component of the seal.
• The spirit of the lake, Tri-Rain, became the 9th sea of the 9th mountain.
• Menghao and Chu Yuyan had a daughter together.
• Xu Qing never bore a single child for Menghao during their 1 trillion years of marriage.
• Prior to the start of the story, Menghao already died twice. Chapter 1 follows on from his third reincarnation.

About the World

Spoiler:

The world of ISSTH is extremely big. The easiest way to describe it would be something like a world inside a world inside a world. The starting planet where more than 800 chapters worth of things occurred at is called (南天星Nantian xing lit. South Sky Planet/Southern Star) and it revolves around the 9th Mountain. The 9th mountain is a gigantic mountain much larger than a planet and is part of (山海界 Shanhai Jie lit. the realm of mountains and seas) [I’m sure the translators will find some better terms to call it].

Shanhai Realm basically consists of 9 mountains and 9 seas, and every mountain have 4 planets revolving around them. A sun and a moon orbits the 9 mountains providing day and night. As the story proceeds, you will find out that Shanhai Realm used to be called Sovereign Realm (temp name) and was much bigger, however the majority of it was destroyed during the invasion of the Demon Realm and God Realm.

Outside of Shanhai Realm is a much larger world/cosmos called Cangmang Space (苍茫星空) where billions of realms exists within. Outside of the Cangmang Space is the true Universe where billions of cosmos exist within.

Cultivation

The stages of cultivation in ISSTH goes as:
Qi Condensing, Foundation Building, Core Transformation, Nascent Soul, Spirit Severing, Dao Seeking, Immortal (仙境), Ancient (古境), Dao (道境)
[(境 Jing) basically means stage/realm ie. 仙境 = Immortal Stage/Realm.]

At Dao Jing (道境), it is split into 9 sub-stages based on the number of origin (本源 benyuan) one controls. Eg. those that control 3 were called Dao Lords, those that control 7 or more are called supreme beings/sovereigns (至尊)

The stages after Dao Jing are referred to as (超脱 chaotuo lit. casting away the laws that bounded/restricted you)
Dao Origin(道源/超脱), Ancestor(祖境), Supreme Controller (至高法则), Universe Controller(宇宙规则)

Now, let's make it clear, about Chu Yuyan, the daughter she has with MH is true, and MH also acknowledge her as his and CYY daughter, the proof being her having MH seal on her soul put on by the original one and that seal make sure that no matter how far it is, they are connected, and the original one narrated her as his daughter and the girl also have demon blood.

Chu YuYan is later seen on the board with 2 others, an old man and a young man, and this is where it start confusing, the yuong man is actually the split body of Wang lin who is the MC of Xian ni, based on ppl interpretation, he is seeking WL, or to be more precise, WL's wife ( Note: at the end of Xian ni, he is willing to get his personality erased to fused back into WL, but apparently, in ISSTH, it was mentioned that 1 of his fragments of souls is still exist and is used to bring him back).

The oldman is actually mentioned in everysingle of Ergen works, and he is presumed to be the one who saved Chu Yuyan whom called him her master and at the end appear on the same boat with Meng Hao and Xu Qing and based on the author note, it could be interpreted that she actually ended together with MH of sort.

presumably by my friend and Ergen fan group, MH is actually rather bland compare to WL, since he was too lucky, and ISSTH is rated rather low among his 3 works.

It seem you are mistaken somethings

The there seem to be problem with CYY as well, as it mentioned that she was saved by the old man and reunited with MH and XQ on the board in the final chapters, the split body wasn't mentioned at all during the reunion, and CYY seem to have all her meories present. and the author note about CYY.

There is a problem about the existences who carried CYY coprse, i abbdoned it midway but by my friend words and the final chapter, there is someone carry CYY away and is either to be the old man or WL clone, for now it's presumably to be the old man

EDIT: it seem i mistaken somethings, CYY gone missing rather than died, and one of the two is responsible for it until their reunion

EDIT2: yeah, i'm pretty sure you are wrong now, in chap 1590ish onwards it was mentioned that she was inside the ice coffin in the violet fate sect ( seem like because of MH) and MH travel to her coffin only to find her missings,
