And in the Sanematsu skit Juushimatsu was the responsible (and/or insane) one, so we had a couple of weird(??) Juushimatsus in this episode. |

Well, the first skit was certainly very relevant to my life right now.... *is down with a nasty cold* Fortunately my own brother is not available right now.
1) Poor, poor Karamatsu. He really does love all his brothers, too bad that he's so... well, so Karamatsu about it. 1a) On that point - awww poor Karamatsu being so happy that Tottie said he likes him the best, even though Tottie was obviously lying. (I'm starting to think that if Karamatsu ever gets an episode where he's actually acknowledged and loved the next episode will start with him waking from a dream or something. Don't worry, Karamatsu! I love you the most! Even though you're really pathetic!) 1b) I have a feeling that this might have been the episode where Nakamura was laughing so much he couldn't properly say his lines. 2) I rewinded the episode to hear Ichimatsu's hilarious little sneeze more times than I'd care to admit. 3) Ichimatsu's power trip, lol 4) I really didn't need to know all that about Todomatsu. But I guess Todoko's love of hiking wasn't completely random... 4a) Tottie, you're a dick but I still like you a lot! Even though you probably don't care either way! Also, the Todomatsu version of the ending, ahahahaha I'm warming up to the song. By the way, I wonder if Juushimatsu's method of curing cold was an homage to that old French(? Belgian? Franco-Belgian?) cartoon series whose title completely escapes me right now. Probably not, though. |

You mean "Once Upon A Time... Life?". I wonder, but I don't think so. If anything, the whole "entering someone else's body by miniaturizing oneself" has become a trope since the movie "Fantastic Voyage" (and Isaac Asimov's subsequent novelization). It's pretty common in anime too - Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt had it with the Anarchy sisters entering Briefs, for example. Dragonball famously did it with Majin Boo. I can also think of a non-anime example in Futurama (the episode when Fry was affected by parasites).
