Trigun fits the description for about half the series but its an oldie.
One Punch Man -- if you're ok with an MC that doesn't really hide his power so much as circumstances just make it so that he hardly ever gets either: -the opportunity to use a small fraction of his strength or -the recognition and credit that he deserves (so he remains unknown and underestimated). That, combined with some other in-universe factors, can certainly make him seem like a guy that "hides his power level". I wouldn't call Saitama "a total idiot", but he's not a genius-type. He strikes me as pretty average intelligence-wise, and he can seem kinda clueless or overly apathetic at times.
