Hmmm, was actually expecting tsurime eyes for Tio, but eh.

The artwork does make her look meaty...in a good way.

As always artist makes pretty good "plot" to the point i wish for a few doujinshi full of this "plot" .

Haha, though in all fairness 99% of the time Tio is in full blown pervert mode, so her serious side is going to be a rare sight no matter who draws it. Now I'm rather curious to see how Aiko and Myuu are going to turn out.

The artist has a lot of doujins out there full of such, rather easy to find really.

That could be difficult to come by. Lately there's been growing support for cracking down on the sale of doujinshi due to the copyright infringement, so the industry is taking a hit.

We got a glimpse of her in the volume 1 illustration at least. Hopefully she'll get a full picture in the next volume or so.

The chapter was about Shizuku's family, not Shizuku and Hajime, so aside from some teasing about Shizuku learning the Yaegashi ninjutsu techniques from now on, nothing else happened.

It's not really a shock since the story clearly describes Tio as having black hair and light skin after all. Though as far as the dignified character role goes, the best match is probably Remia. Shizuku tends to have her straight man, nagging mother, and innocent maiden traits emphasized more than anything else.

On another note, though it's a couple of months late due to my working on other things first, I finally got all the way through volume 2. It was quite the interesting read.

There's an expanded scene describing Shia's new outfit and the reason for its skimpiness, which is basically to prevent the loss of movement. What looks like a skirt is actually a set of short pants that prevent panty flashes(also what Myuu wears in the future), while the bikini looking top apparently has good protective capabilities for the chest.

The scene featuring the Hero party where Kouki is pictured is brand new(around the time when they've reached the 70th floor of the upper labyrinth). Kaori was training a new skill(restraint type light crosses, see the insert color illustration) by herself on demons in the outskirts of Holad and nearly got herself killed from overworking. Shizuku saved her and then scolded her at length. Suzu and Eri showed up, and Suzu commented on Shizuku acting like a mother. Kouki and Ryuutaro finally joined them. Kaori apologized to everyone for worrying them. They decided to go back to town, but Kaori stumbled due to still being exhausted. Kouki tried to support her, but Shizuku got there first. He then attempted to offer to carry her back to town(princess style), but Shizuku beat him to the punch and he was left hanging again. There's some foreshadowing to Kouki's later meltdown. Ryuutaro tried to comfort him a bit.

There's also a new scene depicting the formation of Aiko's bodyguards. The classmates who couldn't continue fighting in the labyrinth were chatting at the palace and Atsushi got into a small argument with Shizuku's maid/friend Nia. After everyone cooled down, Nia mentioned her belief that Shizuku needs someone to rely on and protect her, while the classmates can't even imagine it. Yuuka Sonobe then came out of the near catatonic state she had been in since the disaster at Orcus and decided to form the Ai-chan-sensei bodyguard group. It finally confirmed outright that Yuuka was the girl that Hajime saved in Orcus(haha, nice to see I got that one right at least), while her friend Nana suspected that she has some feelings for him.

The epilogue depicts Shimizu being brought over to the Majin side.

So it really was Yuuka huh, I guess the scene where her mom asks Hajime to make her his bride makes more sense now. Heh, will she able to break free from side-character status?

It really is nice to see some of the side characters getting more development. As it is I have a hard time even remembering most of the other classmates' names since they barely appeared at all during the web novel. Having them fleshed out more is quite welcome.

Could it be that you are in the Shizuku-team? In the forum here and in the translation i had the feeling that you were quite in favor of shizu..

At least we know not everyone in her tribe dresses like that...maybe.

Truth be told, I'm really quite fond of all of the girls. Well, as far as Shizuku goes, I do find many of her interactions with Hajime to be especially well written, and she does stand out somewhat among the other heroines because she struggled with her feelings for quite a long time before finally admitting to and embracing them.

Haha, actually Shia's original outfit, which is every bit as skimpy, is the standard garb for the rabbit people. They dressed as lightly as possible in order to make running away easier.
