Rona is a cutest lovely embodiment of evil. I hope she stays for longer.
I just want one thing to not happen. Please, no triangle, no triangle, no triangle. And biggest surprise of episode, Raj can do something well, he plays on violin! To be honest, my first thought was if there is a hidden violinist somewhere?

Whoa...the next episode will be very eventful. Someone who can actually get past Obi?
It's pretty strongly hinted for a few episodes now, especially in ep 4, that Obi has developed feelings for Shirayuki. However, we can also see how he respects Zen. So I wonder how he'll deal with his emotions for the two? Seriously though, I truly love all the characters from this series. There's just something adorable in all of them, even Raj (a character-type that would have been damn annoying in other series) is portrayed in such a way that he's very likable here! Izana is quite a character himself. Despite having little screen time, he does hold an air of authority whenever he appears. Rona is such a cute little devil! Seriously, kudos to the mangaka for very skillfully giving her characters each unique personalities that are all very likable. Not many mangaka can do that. It seems there may actually be a square between Shirayuki, Zen, Obi, and Raj.

Episode 5:
Quite an intense episode, might be the most intense I've seen out of this series yet up to this point. The irony is that the kidnappers got kidnapped as well. Claw of the Sea sounds like an interesting name imo for a group. It's interesting to note that Kazuki isn't actually as bad as some people think he is. Also, I've never seen Obi this angry before. I'm also starting to like Raj this season now as well.

Episode 5
So Kazuki ends up kidnapping Shirayuki. The other scar face dude keeps Obi busy while Shirayuki is tied up. And thanks to horrible timing, Obi gets knocked out as he gets distracted by the royal kids entering the room. Now Obi is super mad at himself for letting Shirayuki get kidnapped like this. And Zen had one of those bells sent for Shirayuki which would have worked to find her location in case she gets kidnapped. This is a very big problem – Kazuki just picked a fight with two kingdoms. He didn't just kidnap a normal girl named Shirayuki, he kidnapped the representative of Clarines, the personal guest of the first prince of Tanbarun, the lover of the second prince of Clarines, and from the freakin royal castle at that. This boy's got balls, man. And now the royal guards of Tanbarun, the prince of Tanbarun, and the prince of Clarines are out to save her. Things don't look good at all. The king of Tanbarun knows that this isn't something to be taken lightly as this is one ginormous problem – the king doesn't know the exact position of Shirayuki in the castle at Clarines, but he does know that Shirayuki is representing Clarines to an extent and this matter can not be overlooked. So he gives Zen the freedom to move and Raj authority to take action. And surprisingly, Raj isn't going to sit at home as he wants to join Zen. Meanwhile, the mountain bandits kidnap Kazuki and get Shirayuki as a bonus prize. The bandits have now, probably unknowingly, picked a fight with the princes of two kingdoms. Obi has also run after Kazuki and comes across the scar face dude but he was a bit too late as he reaches after the bandits left with Kazuki and Shirayuki. The real question which rises here is who the hell is this Kazuki kid? He or that father guy he mentioned has some sort of past with Shirayuki as he wants to take Shirayuki to the place where she should be. And he knows her name which shows even more that he isn't a random kidnapper who wants to sell her off. Things are getting very intense here. Can't wait for next week. |

can i hug rona and take her home ? (yeah that sond so wrong i know )
i dunno how could i love obi more, this guy rocks. if rona and eugena didnt interrupt i feel he'd be able to keep shirayuki safe. his face when he faced itoya in the forest was so damn full of anger. but atm, when taken by surprise 1v2 he hold them, and when being the one attacking 1v1 he totally destroy itoya. and he found the kidnappers on his own faster than raj's army searching for them. this guy just rocks. i like how the situation is a total mess with thos pirate guys kidnapping kazuki and shirayuki. who knew this anime could get this intense eh ? meanwhile zen come to the rescue and will begin searching shirayuki with raj who man it up. at the end of this arc we will need to do a side by side comparison of how much he graw in this arc compared to how he acted in s1e1 but for now i like how fucking everyone in his kingdom know he his the dumbest fool that exist xD |

at this rate, I really think Obi might snatch Shirayuki from Zen
when all those royalties are still talking about planning and stuff, look at Obi!!! He just like a dog that lost his owner... sneaking in the night.. chasing and tracking like a boss... and might kill someone just by glaring at them so badass! I really want Rona to meet Zen but not like this Zen.. you really need to take the spotlight soon or Obi might become protagonist at this rate I don't know how Kazuki would be able to protect Shirayuki.. I hope he is reliable at least to scream "HANDS OFF FROM HER" when those bandits want to touch Shirayuki |

Ep 05
As a source reader these events were what I was waiting for...I thought they might be the game change and meaning-bringer to the mini arc as a whole for those who were puzzling over the narrative in general. While reading the manga chapters I was swept along and enjoyed it as a consistent whole, so readimg other people's experiences of this mini arc has been interesting for me comparison wise.

Most every studio subcontracts parts of a series to other studios. In the case of Shirayuki-hime, P.A. Works is listed as one of over twenty contractors who handled the "in-between" work: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/ency...e.php?id=17777
In-betweeners create the frames between each "key" frame. Often the primary studio will draw the key frames and hand off the betweening task to a subcontractor. If you haven't ever watched P.A. Works's Shirobako, I suggest you give it a try. It's a very entertaining introduction to the anime production process and the winner of this year's AS Choice Award for best TV series of 2015.

The first cour, which you apparently watched, covered the creation of an anime-original series. The second 13 episodes follows a manga adaptation. The basic plot and cast are the same, of course, but the two cours present fairly independent story lines.
