Also bear in mind that all these streamers have played the game before so none of them are going in blind (no matter what NL says). They have had network tests, and press invitational's to test the game. Also judging the difficulty of a game from someone else playing is just silly, you could play and just get constantly reamed.

Eh, most of the 'human' enemies are the correct size. Its the inhuman stuff thats bigger, or the stuff that has glutted on souls/humanity, or are basically Gods/descended from Gods. Farron Watchers are the same size as the character, Deacons are the same size, Vordt isnt because he is twisted, evil deku tree doesn't count because its a tree, crystal sage is bigger, but not by much. Generally game designers make bosses bigger because it makes them easier to see, also power fantasy. Lore wise its because they have glutted on Humanity/Abyssal energies.
It's obvious from your response you haven't even looked at any game footage. Easy question, how many hours of the game have you watched?

Well, congrats on being wrong since I've watched most of the stuff FightingCowboy has done, which is about... 35-40 hours, and most of NLs stuff too which is a few more hours on top of that.

Latest patch, Fume Ultra Greatsword, nerfed hard (330 -> 260 AR), and Sorcery apparently buffed from not being garbage.

This game hasn't been officially released to the public yet, has it?

Nope not in the west (offically, unless you have an xbox and use an exploit), but still had three patches so far to balance things that you can read about. FUGS was horribly OP for a while, basically one hitting people in PvP.

^ Isn't that the whole point of UGS though? They're heavy as shit and the slowest weapons in the game (barring insanely huge clubs maybe), might as well give them proper compensation for that. Then there's the stamina cost of each attack, using one is a huge risk by itself. It's like...iunno, nerfing firestorm or something.

But think of the PvP balance! *coughs*

Well, glad to know that they're buffing sorceries. My main character typically uses a balance of sorcery and the Moonlight Greatsword to kill shit.

Scrubs will flock to the easiest broken build. No matter the Balance.

But that makes it sweeter when you stomp them, right?

Apparently Sorcery and Miracles weren't getting their Int/Fth bonus which is why they were shit.

Bunch of video driver issues on launch causing crashes and the nvidia drivers are bugged, radeon ones apparently work fine though and fix the issue. Some weird issue where people with headphones plugged in cause the game to have poor fps.

I'm not having any issues at all. I had one instance where I had a framerate drop when I triggered a Mimic, but other than that, no issues. It runs at a smooth 60 FPS at maxed graphical settings.

Loving it. Just beat Iudex Gundyr using Deprived class. I tried with other classes, but it feels less epic.
Using Deprived you have to unequip both shield and club, wait for parry opportunity, switch back to club and reposite.
The plank shield and club that the Deprived are funny. Instead of parrying it does something else, when pressing left trigger/strong left attack. So the only way to parry is to use your empty hands. And if you do not switch back to your club to execute the reposite, you will do hardly any damage with you hands.
All the other classes shouldn't have any issues with Iudex Gundyr.

How is parrying in the game? Is it like DS1's, or DS2's? 'cause I could never get the timing down for DS2.
