Maybe I'm picking up on the wrong things but here's something I noticed the other day: the tournament to select a new "demon king" is very public. However, for the group above that (the 4 heavenly kings including Vamirio and Azudora) don't seem very well known publically and also got that position when still children. It seems to me more like the 4 heavenly kings are born at that level and don't go through the "demon king" tournament. If so then there's probably something fundamentally different separating them.

Oh and a side note. I always figured her helm cover up her screwed up eye, I never forgot about that. Its sorta like it makes her unique.

Saving the humans.. well thats all good in all but they became monsters you know, how exactly do you plan to save them ? is their some magic spell to purify them or something ? You're promising something that may well fall flat. Alicia may be saved with luck but would still be a monster, The kingdom and its people are pretty much done for. Better off searching for survivors, like human communities that werent in range of the horrific spell.

But who knows, maybe convenient medicine will appear <.< Specifically great for curing abomination syndrome !

They have to find a way to counter New World magic one way or another to beat Mikaros anyway.

Otherwise, he'll just keep summoning more monsters and turning more humans. Even if most of the demons are strong enough to fight them, the war will never end unless they figure out how to reverse that form of magic.
