The meaning in Zentradi ranges from what the hell to awesome. Depending on context it can mean this cannot be like what happened with Mentradi fortress holographic computer Moruk Laplamiz in DYRL and in Frontier with the 33rd Marines Records Staff Officer clone of Exsedol when they were blown up.

"Deculture" was originally a zentraedi word used to express shock and awe, but after contact with humanity it started to be used a slang term term with more positive connotations. Zentraedi still use the term "Yack, deculture!" to express shock or awe however.

BTW, the pre-air and bluray cuts of the first episode of Macross Frontier are called the "Deculture" Edition and the "Yack, Deculture!" Edition.

mmm, is the next episode really a recap episode? Firstly because one week is already enough and secondly ... come on, a recap episode, really??

In any case I'm glad I followed the rule to stay away from the sub-forum almost entirely starting from Sunday to Monday evening, when I can finally watch the episode. (Well, I usually just monitor the count posts now and then to have a vague hint to the content of the episode, and admittedly this time it was enough to make reasonable guesses

).

It's a rumor without nothing to support it outside of the word reminiscence being in the title which could just refer to it being a flashback heavy episode after someone died...

I don't think Delta is going to have a recap episode and episode 11 is three episodes too early for a 26 episodes series.

If they try to make the aerial knights sympathetic near the end, it will fail. At this point, i'm hoping they drop a few thousand fold bombs on the palace and wipe out the moronic prince's singing. Without that idiot, simply shoot the aerial knights down with pure numbers

Oh wait, fold bombs are outlawed. Then send a macross class battleship and fire one freaking cannon shot. End of story. Heck a thuverl-salan could do it as well.

They are quite sympathetic already, well Keith is jerk, but I am willing give him some slack now that he lost his precious rival. Roid and Herman are nice reasonable guys, Bogue is just two steps from dere switch (and we need someone to cheer Freya up once HayaMira became thing) and twins... I don't really care about them, they need more personality.

I've been very happy with Delta as my first Macross series but I think Messer's death has made me a bit vulnerable and more prone to second guessing Kawamori. This isn't going to go the whole cliche route right? Messer's death was in glory instead of wasting away as an instructor but it was foreshadowed as all heck with Kaname singing for him being the only hope spot. EDIT: I guess the thing is that I really like all the characters in the show and the feel of the show... I'm just worried that with all the problems people seem to be having with the show (which I never understood) maybe the show does have bigger problems than I thought so far...
