There is no VA for Rosine or Jill, i wonder if they will skip the lost children arc..

To be fair, all-CGI animation IS getting better, but the improvement is uneven among studios. And for all the complaints, it's understandable from a business standpoint, as CGI is now much cheaper than traditional hand-drawn animation.

Sadly, I think that's what's gonna happen. You see Guts fighting the possessed tree in the trailer, which is from Lost Children, but when Guts is fighting the Iron Chain Knights, he's injury free, which is impossible, considering what happened before it. I'm hoping I'm worrying over nothing.

I can understand your criticism, but I find it rather unfair to generalize this using the word "Japan" rather than just blame the studio, I mean, with jewels like tonkatsu dj agetarou it makes clear that this style used in Berserk is not the standard.

on the trailer, confess I did not like, it seems less than the movie, the movie had scenes with horrible CGI (other than what was shown in Sidonia), but the scenes at normal animation were beautifully drawn, since the current adaptation does not seem it, but let's see.

If it is so much cheaper than hand drawn animation why isn't it more widespread?
Surely it would be a breeze to 100% render a romantic comedy series set in high school compared to a dark fantasy series.

either way i didnt expect much from a Berserk adaption since ever adaption always fucked up

Oh well. animation issues aside I am excited for this.
But yes, no Giant Snail Count arc (don't remember the exact name) and Lost Children Arc apparently. This bugs me more than the animation.

I'm gonna be honest here, that episode list pretty much shattered my expectations for the show. They're only going to be covering a small portion of Blackswordsman before they involve the Iron Chain Knights to better fit the episode count and adapt Conviction properly. Problem is, narratively and thematically, there's going to be a good chunk lost in this adaptation and things aren't going to make sense for non-manga readers even with flashbacks/infodumps.

to be honest I do not bother much with this arc being skipped, I remember that there were scenes where I laughed a lot so ridiculas that were and how were exaggerated Gutts expressions, like he struggling with the "fire kids"

but I'm still anxious, although I am more to DGM.

In a way, Im happy to see the series back but...

after seeing the promo....bit worry about the animation, reminds me off "Kingdom S1".

Next question is.....how many episode's its going to be? 24?

It was listed to be 24, perhaps after the criticism the studio change something, Kingdom Season 2 was much better.

As expected, the 1st episode was pretty bad. The only thing that was good for me were some of the OST and the Opening:

They skipped a lot of things by jumping from place to place, it was kinda weird. I'm looking forward to the next episodes though even if it's terrible, i'm always in for more Berserk stuff.
