The PV got me a little worried. It emphasized on character traits rather than the irony to industry. The manga has been doing that quite well. Hope Watari is communicating well with the director....

At least in the manga version that's an important part, don't know about the novel. The first dialogue in the manga is a complain about the seiyuu industry being weird, and the snarky nature of the herione worked great to mock the industry.

Isn't Watari's strength writing character interactions though? Watching the downside of the seiyuu industry is cool but characters' remarks in the novel are also full of irony.

The point of the early PV is always to show off characters and their seiyuu. Calm down.

Its bad enough people judge an entire anime with 1 episode let alone a 1 minute PV lol.

To me idc where it takes this story as long as it is good. But in all honesty im glad to be seeing more and more anime with unique premise. Shirobako probably didnt influence this directly but I do see more anime based on the work force being pumped out the pipelines.

One day we might seen moe on wallstreet

This is the kind of MC that I want.
Will definitely follow this series. Though, I kinda doubt the studio. Let's just wait for now...
