The only gripe I have is that Adrien is the stereotypical western-type popular boy with a sunny attitude (...and a model to boot...ugh). Wish they would have come up with something more original and down-to-earth. Both Cat Noir characters are stereotypes just on opposite ends of the spectrum. Adrien's stereotypical sunny attitude is a mask. In reality, he's a lonely boy who dearly would love for his father to spend more time with him. His mother is completely absent from his life at this time for unknown reasons. And he hates being a model for his father's company, but it seems to be the only way he knows to get his father's attention. I feel sorry for Adrien. He has a lousy home life. He only seems truly happy when he's being Char Noir and when he's with his school friends.

With dad being such a control freak and that gigantic pic of his mother in the study, I'm betting ....

Spoiler for Assumptions only:

Mom is dead. (Reason why dad is a control freak is because he doesn't want to lose his son like he lost his wife.)
Adrien's dad knows more than what he is letting on about those Miraculous. (He tried to get a good look at Ladybug's earrings and was surprised at his son's ring. He also had that reference book in the safe.)
Adrien's dad knows who the main antag is as they sound alike. (Either identical twin or it's his dad. I don't think main antag is his dad because his dad was attacked in one of the episodes and the antag was still functioning in his lair at the same time. Unless..he has a Miraculous that is keeping a duplicate alive.)
