If it's Megumi, I really hope she hasn't gone all Edgelady on us. But she should be safe since she's still one of the rebels (right?). But whoever it is, is he/she helping Hayama, or is he/she his enemy here?

So I guess the start of the chapter confirms that, when voting members out, you don't count those members in the vote at all. So by removing 3, you'd only need 4/7.

That seems a little broken.

Just read the new chapter, and I gotta say I liked it. The story of how Hayama got into the Elite 10 is good, but at the same time, like Sixth said, it's more defeat flags for him. Rindou got a bit redeemed in my eyes after this, though, since she seems not to have gotten over the fact that Isshiki, Kuga and the other guy (forgot who) were kicked out.

I like the fact that Souma seems to have gotten a hint, but I wonder what's in that tree? Hopefully it's something good that can really help him win the match.

That and it's good that Kuga seems to believe that Souma has a chance to win. Hope he's right.

>Hayama in turn destroyed that 3rd year.

And after that he got even better thanks to the authority he gets from central.

Yeah. But Souma should also have improved since then, and if he can manage to find his own alternative to dealing with the bear-meat's odor, he should have this in the bag (pretty much). It'll still be a hard fight, though, to be sure.

It'll just mean Souma is that strong as well.
Although it seems like Souma's at disadvantage atm he'll find a way, like always.

Though I wish Alice and Ryo don't get left behind.

Kurokiba is just being humble. If Kurokiba have a match with the clown for best of 10, Kurokiba is will win 10 over 10. Same goes to Soma Vs Eizan.

Souma will get, what, the god-hands of the Senjuu or Uzumaki to help him compete? Since in Naruto lore, the Rikudou Sennin's elder son got the "eyes" while the younger son got the "body". If Souma is going to be the equivalent of the younger son's descendants, which does seem kind of likely of Hayama is the equivalent of the elder son's descendants, then Souma will probably have cooking hands strong enough to stand up to that nose of Hayama's. Though I guess we need a chef with godly eyes here to be the true equivalent of the elder son's descendants.

I mean, I know you're joking, but it fits so well here.

Anyway, yeah, Souma had better win this one.

i REALLY hoped that 3rd year not gonna be fodder. but nope. tootsuki is bunch of scrubs anyway, there is really no threat except for elite 10 and azami himself. wonder what will soma and friends do after they beat elite ten before even going to 2nd year. there is just no point keeping them in school when they are already the strongest, just go drop out and go professional or something

let's hope the 2 3rd year who actually higher rank than hayama actually do something

The Elite 10 have to at least stay in Tootsuki to complete their education and then graduate. Even once they're the best, there's still something they can learn at school.

But yeah, hopefully those higher ranked than Hayama will show how good they are. The third-years will graduate at the end of the current year, though.

But I think Souma should also get to 1st Seat before the end of the series. He wants to be the best of the best and surpass his dad. Jouchirou was the 2nd Seat, plus he never graduated from Tootsuki either. So if he gets to 1st Seat and also manages to graduate from Tootsuki, he'll already have surpassed him. Jouchirou also told him that if he wants to surpass him, he should first graduate from Tootsuki. He'll still have to beat him in a cooking match, though, even after he's graduated from Tootsuki.

Alright, until proven otherwise I am now betting that Rindou is actually stronger than Tsukasa. In the extra pages she clearly states that if Tsukasa wants to be the 1st seat, then she'll be the 2nd seat and doesn't want to be the 1st seat at all. It could actually be an interesting twist, having Tsukasa finally be beaten and then just flat-out state that he could never beat Rindou and she never got 1st seat because she didn't care.

I agree here, actually. In the latest special chapter, as that's the one I think you were referring to, Rindou did give Tsukasa the 1st Seat because she didn't want to take it from him. She pretty much gave it to him "because two people can't be 1st Seat at the same time!" (pretty much her own words, though I don't remember exactly). It's the same thing with Ikkaku and Yumichika in Bleach. Yumichika took the 5th Seat in the 11th Division because the kanji for "5" "looked beautiful". He also liked the kanji for "3," but Ikkaku had already taken that. Meaning he could've been 3rd Seat if he wanted. It's a pretty good parallel, except the actual numbers are different.

I just read new chapter and it was really good one! Hayama way to elite 10 was as I was thinking. But I still want to know what happen with Jun.
Also Rindou senpai is best as always. Like yes, my ship is Soma x Erina, but Rindou is well written character and also her vampire look is so sexy!
