There were some settings that I really wanted more explanation but nope, just avoid any development.

Plain and simple, this is the Garbage of the Season. If there is something that this series left behind is 2 things, do not believe the fans who say "hey this hardocore ecchi series has an amazing story!" because is a flat out lie, and the second one is a series that was just a flop. I saw the message at the end but looking at the rankings I seriously doubt this series has any chance to get a second season, its gonna flop really hard.

well even for a "hardcore ecchi" still not was "enought" since for what i read from the source, i was expectating much more but looks like even "later night" shows must be cut for the sake of "BD" sales, since the tv air will be crap they will try to bait peoples to buy the bd since all the "hardcore ecchi was cut" to be added in the bds.

well overal for me this was really the "flop" of the season and to show which not all "fap material only" series will be the sky rock and even otakus can get tired of it or anger, probably the anger here could be the "cut" scenes for the sake of bd sales, sometimes i really don't understand otakus mind, cuz we have series like to love ru which the plot is even worse and more generic and sell like "water" and others serie like that which despise the heavy ecchi don't even scratch the sales, i really would love to understand why this happen many times.

On 99.99% this will never get second season like all battle harem animes. Cliffhanger was only to boost more light novel sales.

For a hardcore ecchi series i must admit the ecchi was mostly disappointing. It had its moments but there were very few. The ending was a bit wtf for me but i do believe that the BD's wil make up for it. The major thing they did wrong is they didnt really address the story for those who werent familiar with the LN. As an LN reader i could see the story aspects but for those unfamiliar to it the story part was lacking.

I'm pretty disappointed in the show overall. Story felt like it was lacking and the finale felt rushed as well. Didn't find a single character in this adaptation that was memorable either.

For now, I doubt a second season is happening and well, I don't want to see one either.

With these one now that's three shows ended by me for the summer season.

Uf! A pretty anti-climatic resolution as to how Aine facing again with the memories of her first encounter with Kizuna triggered within her releasing her Ultimate Immoral Weapon to wipe out all the Batlantis forces plus reactivating the sealing system for the fissures.

You know I'm not a LN reader so given the flow that the last episodes were taking I was expecting Aine leaving Kizuna and co. for the Batlantis Empire for this season's finale.

Although that mystery girl appearing before Aine in the last shot and addressing the former as her sister, might come closer to my original prediction.

But, to be honest, I thought Masou Gakuen HxH wasn't bad to me. Unlike one certain show where the male protagonist is as useless and doesn't do anything to his harem being enrolled in an-all female school by his domineering big sister to operate a MD weapon that girls of his universe only can, I found Kizuna's character more likeable and proactive, perhaps, because keeping his harem and team girls' hybrid count from dropping to zero in order to prevent their deaths drives him to become more emotionally invested and personally immersed in their welfare and happiness.

As for the premise, I found it sharing some tropes with such shows as Freezing and Daimidaler plus adding the fanservice content either the ecchi one and the serious ecchi reserved for such situations when Kizuna takes each one of the girls into the transportable, love room in order to replenish their hybrid count via the climax hybrid.

Honestly, I do not mind being back again for a second season which I expect will happen, since that twist at the end of the season's finale served for a decent cliffhanger that made me intrigued to look forward in store for what's next to happen in the storyline.

overall series bit a "hmm" of sorts depends yet if get a s2 oh wonder what else to expect?

So this season(?)'s final boss is Princess CorneliaZelshione. Her mindfuck abilities are pretty dangerous.

Aine gets excited when embarrassed? Hell yeah.

That last part pretty much guaranteed a second season.
