I wonder if these characters should forget fighting each other and just go after the administration . 16 is too many? They could have at least waited until they got to 20 before making a fuss about it.
Could be an interesting show. Magic survival battles. At least the premise has some interest to it.

Didn't expect that series to get an anime, really. Some of the scenes are really bloody...

Anyway, so a Battle Royale-esque with Magical Girls? Reminds me of Himelander Mai-HIME, which can only be a good thing in my book. |

Damn, just looked on twitter and the script writer said it would only cover volume 1 (+ the relevant chapters of volume 4).
So that's a good news for the anime since it will not be rushed, but that's a bad news for me. That means no PFLE, no Shadowgale, and no werewolf game. And I'm not a huge fan of the first volume. I know I should rejoice that another adaptation choose the path of being faithful, as it's so rare and it's always something I wish for; but that's an exception for me. I mainly like that title due to characters and stuff coming from volume 2 onward... Seeing animated the first volume only doesn't really interest me anymore. Basically for Mahoiku, it's No PFLE No Life. ~

More like 1.5 volume (the .5 being the relevant chapters from volume 4 (episodes).
It's not slow paced at all. Volume 1 is actually very fast paced and that's why I thought that this anime would do very badly since rushing something already fast paced would give ridiculous results. Looks like they agreed with that and decided for the first arc only. That means that this anime will be far more correctly paced than I thought it would. But except if they intend to make a second season (doubt it), it also means that I will not see what I wanted to see, so well :'(. Quote:

And yes they're obviously expanding it since they are taking part of the volume 4. And I know the only wayt to not lead to something ridiculous was what they decided to do. Maybe they'll take the additional infos/stories from the 特別編集版 too. Kinda want to see their encounter with Pythie Frederica animated, especially since it's technically happening between arc 1 and 2.
