It's incredible how many kanmusu I'm cycling through in order to find a lucky combination at E4 final dance. Not counting the transport phase I already used fifteen I think.
Roma, Italia, Iowa, Kirishima, Bisko, Akagi, Kaga, Chiyoda, Zuihō, Ashigara, Hatsuzuki, Shigure, Jintsu, Kiso, Abukuma.

Note though that even with Maya in the fleet there is sadly a rather high chance of getting sent back home :/

I used Taihou, Shoukaku and Kaga for E4 already. So I am left with Akagi, Zuikaku and ChitoChiyo, also RJ. Cant really use the Unryuu or Graf cuz their plane count is a joke (and Aquila is the punchline). As I have found out, Carrier Task Force is more to my liking in E5N. I really needed that AS.

Green T not working out in my favour.
EDIT: Finally cleared that thing. 65 runs in the killzone. Total expense for E4 90k fuel, 90k ammo, 55k steel, 25k bauxite, 340 buckets. Oh, and anybody need some Kazagumo? Dropped five of her at node R.

Cleared E5N.
I have made to the boss node with Akagi in chuuha condition, so I got a bit worried. However, after the initial LBA bombing and carrier attack, the turning point of the battle likely have been Nagato sniping Wo Kai, meaning one less worry. It made everyone's else job a little easier, not to mention that Maya destroyed 4/5 of the enemy attack planes. So I made it to the night battle in that condition: I was a little worried when Purin targetted BB-Hime instead of Abyssal Saracchi. So much for the Crossroads Club buff. In the end, it was all left to Poi & Ayanami to whittle down Abyssal Saracchi's health enough for KTKM-sama to deliver Le Coup de Grace. And two new girls joined the fleet, 1 as a drop, the other as result of Kanmusu Exorcism: As I have said, I did Normal because I wanted to get done with this fast. Having Asakaze as a drop is pretty much telling me that the ride might not be over and that I should search for Yamakaze, since Oyashio dropping in E4 is a sign that the girls you failed to save may not come as easy in the future as you'd love to think. Good thing I got Oyashio from Spring tho, but gotta need to work on getting Yamakaze as soon as I can afford. I have blamed Tanaka and devs a lot for the obtuse choices in regards of E4, and I still think it's a poorly thought out map. However, I also have myself to blame. Since Spring 2016, I have been slacking a lot, barely doing the bare minimum, as in just expeds and PvP. I have not been clearing my dailies, weeklies and monthlies, and leveling such as 4-3 Grind, with as much assiduity as I used to do. Also I was not too sure on what equip I should have worked to upgrade, fearing to waste screws for nothing. The me from before Spring would have strapped Kinu to powerleveling duty as soon as I'd have heard about the hints of her being the next kai ni candidate. But I didnt. I also have had my trip to USA where I judged that it was more important to try socializing with my cousins and my in-law, but I could, at least, tried to do what I could have done in my free time there. My time and attention also been divided between FGO, my monthly dungeons & dragons game, and work. Also, dear Tanaka, be nice and bring Richelieu and Hellcats next. Teste and Saracchi would be thankful. |

Done up until E-2 today. Free Daihatsu.
I'm also done with the E-2 air base part of the debuff, with two perfect defences in four runs. I used subcheese for this. Tomorrow I'll do the E-3 debuff, and finish it. Maybe start on E-4 too.

7 sorties, 2 retreats, 5 A-ranks. The one time I S ranked was when I bothered to send boss support exped. I may have a special place in Hell somewhere.

Lineup looks okay to me. I would put the Searchlight as Fleet 2's flagship though. Maybe you can swap Nachi's Star Shell for Haguro's Searchlight and line them up like this: Nachi, Hatsuzuki, Sendai, Haguro, Kiso, Shigure. My setup for your reference: Spoiler for Click:

When everything fails, do the gandhi and send a nuke. E-4H cleared!
Was too caught up in the moment to take any pics but here's a replay of it.This has been a hellish map. It's most fortunate that I did not have to face any hell during the chipping phase. Otherwise, I would had immediately drop to a lower difficulty. I did the chipping using sparkled high level subs (O-P-S-Q-V) with boss support. The LOS was easily met by equipping several Obs Recon planes on the lower luck SSVs. Was only stopped once at S node. The rest made it to boss. That was my highest damage from chipping runs. The damage normally range from not meeting the boss in yasen to 100+. You will take more sorties to chip but at least it's cheap and not stressful. However, during my LD runs, I find that a sparkled light fleet (FBB, CL, 2 DD, 2 CVL) with both support can frequently reach boss node so you can use that for chipping runs instead. |

Well, uhm, that was easy. E5甲 with the bonus damage (and the accuracy penalties for the Abyssal combined fleet, how does that taste, hah!) for Purin and Sakawa is a total cakewalk.
I forgot boss support for the final run, didn't matter. Was surprised that Purin and Sakawa are not only nuking the boss, but everything on that node. Had Sakawa once take out the DDH in day battle like it was nothing. In total I needed 14 runs to open the second starting point and then 18 runs to clear the map itself. Would have been faster if I had gone the fast and light formation from the get-go and spared myself a couple of retreats due to subs. It was also funny how effective LBA were despite a total lack of fighter support. All in all the event was a rather simple affair. With one exception: E4. The difficulty balance was way out of whack with how much of a Russian Roulette E4 is and how easy E5 is. Well, remaining thing is to farm for Asakaze at E5 and Yamakaze at E2.
