For a moment, I thought that Marina was Maya but different names and that Maya was previously Dark Navy. She'll probably be the biggest player of this volume. The magician and knight combo thing reminded me of Magika.

No doubt, Koutarou is that Arbiter. Though I'm not sure how that fits in the Blue Knight history and all that. We'll need to hear more about that legend and how Koutarou would fit it.

Well I'm on the unlucky side this time. Keep telling other for several week to use trick for reading but in the end I'm falling victim to one.

I'm already reading the first chapter though by tweaking a bit. It's short but still reinforce that Darkness Rainbow member is just someone who lost their guidance.

You know, reading these chapters made me think of something. Handcuffs are really rare in anime/manga/ln. Most of the time when a character needs to be restrained they use ropes which are easily broken to let them escape later. In fact, the only other ln I can think of that used actual handcuffs is A Certain Magical Index. What about you guys? Can you think of any other instances?

^ It's cause people don't normally carry cuffs around with them unless they're a cop or something. At least rope is somewhat more plausible. Not entirely, but still more believable that someone has rope on them than cuffs.

I dont know if discussions about who really was the founders of Folsaria and People of the Earth were had already been concluded and all, but I honestly believed them to be Grevanas and Maxfern. But because of the last line, It made me think it might've been Caris and Lidith. any thoughts?

Those 2, they never got blown up through dimensions to other realms; so my vote goes to no. Most likely not everyone on the coup army survived the transfer, and even if they did survive, they probably were thrown to way more than 2 locations, so most likely the founders of the underground people and the magical kingdom are not the leaders directly; but some grunts that lionized their battle into a legend (and for some reason, who were the good guys in the legend transfered better to the decendants).

Yeah, i'm had same opinion.
They are direct descendant from maxfern and gravernas army that get blown to earth

Most likely, after they came to earth 2000 year before., maxfern and gravernas start up new civilization on earth
#hint, artefact from kou excavation .
They start to remember their sins and because they dont want something like that happened again, they make gravernas and maxfern exiled and talking about story or their name as something forbiden.
But sometimes later around 1000 years leter, they realized their civilization too advanced compared the native civilization a.k.a original earth people.
To avoiding conflict, they decided to move again, but this time magician and alchemist go to separated ways. Alchemist go to the inside earth and became underground people or people of earth.
While magician go to different dimension.
Hence the sudden missing advance civilization artefact found in kishusou :v

Thats why they both have same forbiden history and same concept aboout not wanting to missuse their advanced power, because they learn from expericed them self.

Well, to be fair, the ruins where Koutarou works are from the Joumon Period. It's -10 000 years. Of course their civilization is FAR MORE ADVANCED.
