"Fuji TV"? The same one as regular broadcast, BS, or something else completely different? Of the other ones on your list, I don't think that I've seen any yet. This is not a system like, for example, Sony's LocationFree, I'm guessing?
Isn't there a schedule guide on the site that is offering this service, BTW?

It's internet TV, streaming TV, not TV actually. Most of the channels here are web-exclusive. You do not get free terrestrial channels, such as you would see in Japan if you got a basic cable package.
So probably none of these show anime, I would assume. Most of them only show crappy shows anyway, stuff you wouldn't be interested in. It's basically not "TV", but a collective program that lists streams from various areas, making switching accesible. Not channels. |

Afaik if you want a channel which broadcasts lots of anime (like a few series per day,
not a few or only one series per week) then you need either TV Tokyo or TV Osaka. And in my experience of actually being able to watch anime on Japanese TV channels it's simply easier to download the RAWs instead or something -- it's kind of a pain staying up until 2:30 am each night, and if I try to tape them I occasionally miss an episode because some news item (or something) delayed the broadcast by 15-30 minutes... |
