Hell he might have been the strongest Newtype in history after his transformation..That bastard was like the Newtype version of the Legendary Super Saiyain Brolly or something ;p...So incredibly powerful, so beyond the limits of sheer power that he just fizzeled into an oblivion with a rose as his guide in life...Gotta give him props...

Shiho Hahnenfuss (Yzak's un-official work-wife . She sure has a pretty decent fan-following for a character who doesn't speak, except in Generation CE)

Yzak Joule (Serious, dedicated & permanently s**t-faced. Oh, love the hairdo)

Kira Yamato (The most Japanese of all protagonists in Gundam, essentially a Samurai of the Cosmic Era. He is so adorable... & a pimp. Proof here -> http://kenkoudaa.sakura.ne.jp/page100.html)

Lacus Clyne (A mixture between Lin Min-May & Relena Peacecraft, but with far more political ambition. Sports dual personality which she manipulates at her own free will to achieve her goals. Possibly the most powerful woman to ever exist in the Gundam universe. Hail terrorist Lacus!)

Duran... I mean Char! (Who can forget about him, the most infamous cannon fodder/end level boss you have to defeat in every Gundam series)

Shiro Yamada (The most 'realistic' protagonist in Gundam, and one with a name randomly pulled from a dictionary. I feel for him)

Aina Saharin (The only woman in Gundam to ever look cute even when pregnant, oh, and... Episode Seven!!)

Tak (The new guy who is about to mess up established institutions and initiate somekind of a socialist revolution. But you are all going to welcome me with open arms anyway)

Well, personally I'm a big fan of "Random Male Character #10845" that gets killed by Junius Seven debris in episode 7 of GSD. He also apparently must be engaged or married to Kira because he has the same haircut as him.

Bright Noa: see above. Replace ArchAngel with Whitebase, Argama, Ra Caillum.

My favoriteS would be:

Auel Neider - he's so cute and looks innocent (when not aboard Abbys though)

Kira Yamato - he's kinda realistic coz he isn't like the goodie-strong guys. He's
really emotional. If you were in the war, wouldn't you be emotional?

Fllay Allster - I really like her b'coz I like characters that develop throughout the
story. She first started as a spoiled, rich and manipulative girl. But at
the end she changed, when she realized that she really loved Kira.

Stellar Loussier - I really don't know why I like her. She's just so mysterious (or
weird). She's innocent one time then on the other she's really
violent. Cool.

Murrue Ramius & Mu La Flagga - They just look cute together!

LeaST Favorite:

Lacus Clyne - Its not that I hate her, its just that she too plain boring. I think I like
Meer better. (No flames Lacus fans!)

Shinn Asuka - I sometimes like him, mostly I don't. He's too boastful although he's
sometimes nice and right.

Rey Za Burrel: To see him break the shackles that bind him to the name Rau was the most fulfilling thing to see in GSD.

I'm glad to see that someone gives him some credit. Rey's character developement was lost, but I like to compare him to Sojiro Seta in Rurouni Kenshin (his blind loyalty for Dullindal, like Sojiro's for Shishio, the fact that both Rey and Sojiro end up having a nervous breakdown, triggered by the main character's speech, etc.).
I thought Rey would show some godly skills during the final battle but that didn't happen, too bad.

Yeah, Kira never thinks for him self. He just does whatever queen Lacus tells him to. Thats the 1 thing I don't like about Kira. He is just a lap dog that does whatever Lacus tells him to. Other then that Kira is ok.
