With Ichika being the sole male IS pilot, there is a chance though. All the countries would want to use him to try to increase the amount of male IS pilots. Even if Japan bans polygamy, they could make exceptions for political favors from other countries.

the problem is they have to get through chifuyu FIRST, & they're TOO AFRAID OF HER, so the chances of getting more male IS pilots in the series is less than 7%, & i'm pretty sure she'll get jealous of the harem at SOMe point

I can't help but think of Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari with my last post. Basically male pilots are rare there as well. They're basically stud horses more than pilots lol. Used for bargaining and are forced to be with many different women. lol

If IS wasn't all about the harem, then the logical next step in the story would be that someone else has already experimented on other male humans in an attempt to create more male pilots.

Well, it's a manga based on a Light Novel. Other than a few minor differences, it's not really going to be massively different.
It is, after all, only an adaptation of the light novels, not a new work entirely - just as the anime was, hence the similarities.
