The manga is also inspiring an original anime DVD (OAD) bundled with the manga's 10th volume, which will ship on April 19. The television anime's staff and cast are returning for the OAD.

Hmm, new OP song is amusing with the immense amount of the chibi Umaru in it.

Actually, this first episode featured mostly Umaru (well as expected) and the jokes return. She's still the same brat at home as I remember LOL. I feel bad for her bro

Glad to see Ebina back! She's adorable as ever still (and shy)
Happy to see Sylphinford back too.

The soccer match was really fun to watch. I'm happy that this show is back.
The ED theme song is also really funny.

Watched episode 1:

Had plenty of smile and laugh today in watching ep 1. Tachibana is the perfect combination with Umaru.

Umaru finally make real friends with the others.

This is my favorite kind of entertainment. 9/10 for first ep. ^^

Haven't we had this basic storyline before? Onii-chan discovering that he has no reason to exist if he isn't caring for/cleaning up after Umaru, and turning into a dried-up husk of huimself begging for things to go back to the way they were?

Well, we got more Sylphy, and more of the whole gang of four, which is great. Poor Ebina, though. Took too much time deciding on the movie and all the popcorn vanished. You should always buy your own to prevent that, girl!

Hmm... interesting. I'm really not into this show anymore. I have a sneaking suspicion that the really catchy OP of the first season was the one that kept me going.

favorite part was Ebina when she wanted to eat, but then wanted the popcorn, then the movie started and it was all gone.

same with dragoonkain, i watch it, but i don't really laugh much since most of the humor seems really low energy this season for some reason

For some reason.. Sylphine is now more funny than Umaru when I watch this. desu wa!! Shubaphine also makes me laugh at the ending theme.

Liked almost the entire episode.. the only bad is why recycle the old joke about Onii-chan having nothing to clean?

I rather enjoyed this. The only thing I'd change is one spot in the opening, when Umaru goes face-hugger on her brother. That hoodie is hard to distinguish from the body from the back, so the way the bottom swung back and forth looked just a bit suggestive...
