This Rin is unaware of the grail war stuff though - the narrative even implies that it is weird that she, a Tohsaka, does not know what the hell is going on here. And I doubt Sakura is exactly free considering she is still a Matou, still acts the same, still has pink hair which is directly caused by Zouken and Rin and her still don't interact at all. If anything this Rin is less aware of what is going on than FSN Rin.

And yeah Kerry and Iris are literally implied to be "fighting somewhere to keep the current life of his family possible", whatever that means.

- Hiroyama yet again uses mythology aspect better than other fate works by adding more of elements from Thor's death - namely the nine steps he took before falling dead. Gods I wish more fate works used the myths and bakcstories in such ways. Given I quite doubt its Thor now considering all the set up so far. Most likely it is Thrym, the giant who stole Thor's Hammer, although that does not explain Beatrice's install having both Thor's Glove, Thor's belt and the stone in the forehead....tricky tricky.

I pretty much expect them to go back to their world only to find everything having gone to shit.

That or Jullian will go to their world.

Let's be frank, even if we tie up Jullian stuff, there's A LOT of things that just do not go together with him:

• Kirei and Gil being shady possibly having their own goals - There's a lot of things here that can't possibly be neatly tied up. Gil specifically helpin out Jullian with the grail hint and then randomly just disappearing off to somewhere with his full power now is suspicious as hell too. Let's also not forget that Gil literally promised that "once he will get his old self he will kill Chloe" and all other hints that these two are basically edging on both sides due to ulterior motives.
• The weirdness in Illya-world. We got hints about Caren, Irisviel, Kiritsugu, what happened, etc and it is very clearly outlined that Miyu crashing into illya's world with all the cards stirred up some very bad shit there. We have weird power-struggle in the association with somebody going behind Zelretch's back for the cards, we have Caren being way too mysterious and mischevious to just be a helping hand, we have Irisviel and Kerry mystery, we have a very clear chekov's gun set up of Irisviel stating that her life prevents Fuyuki ritual from being possible, etc. Oh and let's not forget Rin's set up of wanting to save her sister too - I very much doubt she will get to save Miuverse version of her after all, so that only leaves the Sakura in her world who also has violet hair with all implications that carries. Let's also not forget that Herz adaptation specifically expanded on all of that -

  We had Caren having a conversation with someone at the Church on the hill about what is going on and we had Bazett outright spell out that the current status quo won't last long as MA will figure it out eventually and whatever is happening there will come after the cards
  . IT basically spells out that what is happening with Miyu, while unrelated, pretty much lit the fuse that is about to blow up whatever stalemate is in place there. Let's be frank, it looks BAD right now - unless time moves differently in both world, Illya, Miyu, Bazett, etc have been missing for days, which is only making a bad situation worse.

No the cards will be gone by the end of 3rei because it belong to the Holy Grail War from Miya World so that problem will end which 3Rei the only way they could make another series if the Gil and Kirei turn out not to be solve by the end of 3Rei and it bigger then we think or the card end up in Illya World cause the Grail of Illya World to start up again but it will mean that Illya is going back to some shit when she get back and her Shirou may not be so useless any more.

Reenacting the full legend in order to defeat the opponent, that is pretty cool. Rin seems to have doubts about whether Beatrice's card is really Thor though.

Considering the arm and the foreshadowing about it not being Thor, it's possible its actually the giant who at one point stole the hammer.

If its Thrym then that creates problems because Beatrice clearly has Thor's gauntlet, belt and even the rock in the forehead. Which is one of bigger problems with that theory.

Thing is, she's lost both the gauntlet and the belt, which were supposed to be "necessary" for Thor to hold the hammer.
In all likelihood they were fakes or counterfeits made to reinforce her ability to stand in as Thor.

Hiroyama dug DEEP into the myths for this. Thrym and the like crossed my mind but I never would have thought it would be Magni, who essentially has like two sentences covering him in the myths(given, "I survived the apocalypse" is quite a strong mythological background).

At the same time Hiroyama seems to be hellbent on challenging Illya's "Save Everyone" logic too.

How can this be so freaking great? Its easilly the best ongoing nasuverse work. If it goes on like this it might become better than FSN and tsukihime.

I'll be honest, I didn't know about Magni. Pretty cool that Hiroyama used him and tried to fool us into thinking he was Thor all this time. I guess he's technically considered a demi-god (even if his mother wasn't human either), which explains how he was able to be summoned.

Kinda surprised the way the went with the end of the fight. While it's a logical counter, it basically rewrites the entire fight to be nothing but Illya taking pity on Beatrice. Kinda undermines her juggernaut image.
