The preview answered the question I asked last week. Kero can still transform. No problem with Yukito/Yue either, so it seems the cards are fine.

My favorite scenes in the episode were the ones taking place at Sakura's house. Sakura and her Dad preparing lunch together, Toya teasing Sakura, Sakura worrying about Yukito/Yue, Rika's phone call, and Kero losing his mind because he incorrectly guessed who the culprit of the book he was reading was.

I may have ranted a bit about the filler train, but it doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the episode, it was quite nice
CCS has a good enough setting for such episodes, not feeling disjointed from those adapted from the Manga.

I did expect a bit more of a dramatic capture but it is nice to see her using her cards. This makes it 6 cards she has now.

I do kind of miss Li and Sakura arguing though, but I'll take the more moments between her and her brother. It's nice to see.

I was just thinking the same thing!!! If they upgraded some of the technology for this series, surely they could include drones and maybe have costumes (since she makes a lot of them) that have built in gopros.

Another enjoyable episode. Reminded me of the days years ago when anime are simple like this, but still fun to watch. Laughed at the joke where Sakura will put less in Touya bento, if there's not enough for Yukito.

Ah, so today's card can pull things.. and the Siege card reminds me of the Shield card, very useful.

Tomoyo singing still nice to listen to, feels like it has not changed at all even after many years have passed for her va.

Even if Akiho is involved, that doesn't mean she's a bad person or even insincere. CCS has never had any real bad guys, just situations that need to be addressed/solved.

I'm still more curious what Syaoran's role in this is. At this point it's well beyond coincidence that he doesn't arrive until after the card situation is resolved. I'm certainly leaning towards this being a trial that Sakura needs to take and those around her are involved in orchestrating. Though also a possibility that the disappearing cards and the new cards she is gaining aren't directly related. Eriol and or Syaoran may be re-arming her because it was known that her cards would go transparent and she'd need to be able to protect herself.

There are some things that seem certain such as Akiho being involved in some way. But hard to say if her role is straight up being a threat or just a necessary obstacle. We'll have to see. If things hold steady to past events of course then it should just be a necessary challenge.

So next week will finally have Kero in his real form, not that I expect him to do anything again. Poor Tomoyo, missing out on another capture. Good thing this card capture seemed to take place in a pocket dimension so don't have to worry about too much undue attention.

I wonder what Syaoran is so busy with. Especially arriving right after the card was captured. I miss the days when Syaoran could at least witness the battle (even if he usually wasn't powerful enough to help much).

Not sure I'd call it filler as it at least helps Akiho ease into the group, and the characters are so fun I don't mind too much. Huh, a vocal cameo from Rika, wonder if she'll ever make an actual appearance (beyond that one picture). Or maybe they just want to steer clear of that her sub-plot. I do wonder how long the mystery will continue, even if Sakura can't do anything right now, hearing Kero's references to Spinel make Eriol's silence even more obvious. (Yes, I know Kero's chats with Spinel were from before.) Like in the second movie the card cut the phone lines, but they've got cell phones and the Internet now (and a much longer stretch of time).

Nice, Meiling really does exist in this show! I just hope she gets more than a cameo appearance but also a relevant role soon.

I think that's the 1st time Sakura said hello to Nadeshiko this series.

In the original series it was done almost every episode at the breakfast table.

An early appearance by the mysterious being, usually they come at the end of an episode.

Akiho is also a very nice singer, also give lots of credit also to Syaoran for his piano playing.

I wonder his the new record card is going to be used, we already have Tomoyo to do all that, maybe Sakura can call it out when Tomoyo doesn't have her camera on her.

Someone elsewhere pointed out that the magic circle that appears when Kero transforms is still Sakura's old Star circle. Despite receiving the Dream key and new cards with their own magic circle, Sakura's personal magic has not changed. That means that the cards and the key aren't part of Sakura's magic. She may be using them, but they belong to someone else.

Yay, Meiling showed up! And she even got an animated appearance, compared to Rika's vocal cameo last time. Aw, she's still a good character (one of the few times I think I liked an anime addition to a manga story). I hope she can visit, she was a fun addition to the group. And even as official couple, those hints still fly over Sakura's head. Ah, never change.

I kind of like that this card was pretty harmless (even if poor Syaoran can't even sense it). But oh no, this card is basically perfect for Tomoyo (she missed another capture, but at least she contributed by getting everyone else out of the room). Speaking of Tomoyo, huh, Sonomi shows up next time and looks like Tomoyo will start deploying camera drones. That's going to be scary/funny. I wonder if Momo is another creature. I hope they have a scene where Kero and Momo are stuck together and both have to hold still (even better if its Touya).

yeah a incest+pedobear=clamp make a lot of sense give they track records the only thing miss could be if instead of a "hE" it is a "SHE" them could be a pedobear+incest+yuri=total wins
