Though i dont see dxd mode being the answer for crom anyways with exe on the horizon. Also gotta love how people are downplaying Crom just because Vali stalemated him. At best, current issei would be able to force a stalemate with a lucky shot within that time limit, then get wiped out by crom when it expires. And that's assuming he goes all out knowing that trianna queen wont faze crom if EJO didn't.

It'll be years before his body is able to sustain that form regularly. Maybe DxD stabilizes a bit and the stamina issue still exists except now Issei is able to use it at full power without dying. And it allows him to fight Crom Cruach.
I never said that Issei would recover his stamina. That's why I said that him and Rias would be incredibly exhausted and would try to finish it off with one attack. |

@kidstandout: Ajuka said Ise would get only a glimpse of ExE in the tournament and that it's something different. It's probably not related to Great Red or Ophis' power. The form that'll be the final answer for Ise from having Great Red and Ophis' powers is going to be AxA.
And he says to Grayfia and Ravel in Volume 24 that his next major power-up will be AxA. Because of what Ajuka said. He'll awaken Great Red's power, which we don't know the name of yet, and then he'll master Dragon Deification in a year once Ophis and Lilith start resonating. Then he'll awaken AxA. It's not the time for ExE to awaken yet and it's something different. Azazel apparently figured out what it is already. But if it'll be a year in-story before he masters Dragon Deification and awakens AxA, will we really see it in this series? Ishibumi will have to do a time-skip probably. If the series is ending in Volume 31, we only have 7 more Volumes left, don't we? Maybe he can do it if he extends the series more.

Yeah, that may be so, but Ishibumi originally said he'd end the series at Volume 30 and then had to extend it by one more Volume because Volume 24 was getting too long and he had to split it. I can see him having to extend it further, but considering the fact that it took 22 Volumes to get one year to pass in-story, can he really do another year within the story in just 7 or 8 more Volumes (counting Volume 24 as the latest Volume until Volume 25 comes out which is apparently soon-ish)? He'll have to extend it a lot more than that to cover another year, probably.

^Yeah, it only includes non-serious Ajuka and base form Sirzechs along with Falbium and Serafall. If those four fought him while Ajuka was serious and Sirzechs was in his true form, he'd probably lose.
