i'm the only need feeling this guy must be or hotaru's brother or father or cousin???, he have the same eyes and act all chuny exactly like her, something looks very suspicious with hotaru disappearance and that weird combine maniac, which have eyes and act exactly like hotaru

He is pretty much male Hotaru, except with an obsession for convenience stores rather than Dagashi. When I saw him in the OP, I thought he was Hotaru's brother because of the eyes but it doesn't seem to be the case.

yeah that was my feelings watching him, even if him not related to her, he does look a lot related to her and in anime it's even make more "obvious" they being related when you have 2 characters which so much traits and some "appearance" in common, while probably not a father or brother he can be a cousin or a distant relative or something like that, but for sure looking at how he act you really can se a "male hotaru" on him.

I was wondering how Owari would get involved with the rest of the cast, given that she was featured in the OP and ED. I'd say she fits right in with the rest of the cast. I didn't expect her to be so... I don't even have the words

Well I'll give the 'new hire' something. She's awkwardly enthusiastic [sort of] and a nice counterpoint character to the rest of the cast.

This season is starting to feel seriously lacking in Hotaru.

Also, not to kink-shame or anything, but I wasn't expecting Saya to be into, you know...

Owari is a nice distraction, but I'm really starting to miss Hotaru too. It doesn't help the episodes are so short, since that means the story progresses more slowly.

This week's episode wasn't nearly as good, and Hotaru is still missing. Hajime doesn't seem to be the most reliable employee, but something must be said about her ability to wing it hard.
