You aren't supposed to double post, though. Plus Shinji 'being unable to fathom the pain she has felt' is further proof she isn't being set up as a bigger villain than Westcott.

I don't know if this could be DAL-related but I'll post it anyway.
You know about IMS right, the studio (or former studio) that animated season 2, Kurumi Star Festival and Mayuri Judgment. Well it appears they don't have much longer as an animation studio. The animators working there have been unpaid for 2 months straight and as you an imagin, some of them have snapped and left. Does that mean the new anime project is being handled by another studio? Is it possible that Date A Live III is being handled by another studio? Sure it is. Who's animating it hasn't been announced yet. Is it likely? No. If Production IMS have the animation rights to Date A Live, they're the only ones who can animate it until they breach the contract, or it expires. It's possible that they sold the rights back to Kadokawa, or lost them through some other means - but we haven't heard anything about it, so until we do, Production IMS is the most likely candidate for animating DAL III, sorry.

I was merely assuming things seeing how the studio seems to be on its breaking point. It just made me curious, I've seen some comments in the chinese community saying that IMS no longer have the animation rights to DAL and then found out about their current situation so I just made a hyphotetical connection. Of course I wanted to ask your opinion on it. There's still however the fact that some of these guys might be pulling a prank or they might be telling the truth, the chinese are always one step ahead of the rest of us when it comes to DAL, even japanese seem to be behind somehow. But well, as long as IMS have the rights to animate DAL, they will be the ones to do it, even if they're in bankruptcy. |

One of the last entries of Production IMS, High school fleet gets a new movie but the studio which makes the movie is A1 Pictures. I don't think something like that could happen if they didn't go bankrupt

Here's one https://twitter.com/maki_s64/status/982731779973890048 And here's another https://twitter.com/JIN_X103/status/982733077687369728 So DAL is being animated by another studio. Guess we'll have to wait until the Fantasia Bunko Festival for revelations. |
