This anime will likely have a cutoff point ending.
Currently the LNs span 17 volumes, with Vol 18 due this May 24th, 2018. https://www.amazon.co.jp/%E4%BA%8C%E.../dp/4798616508 And the WN seems to be still ongoing. No way even a 2-cour season could go that far. Quote:
There's only 7 vols so far. Personally I want Realist Hero, Isekai Mahou and Chiyu Mahou. |

Seven volumes should be enough for two course anime if studio wanted, obviously I don't know if there is good ending point, but amount material alone wouldn't be issue.
Anyway I would assume Nidoume didn't have any drama CD that could give out possible cast, did it?

The premise is fine, but unfortunately many isekai only employs their unique premise on first story arc, stretches it as thinly as possible for the following arcs, and completely lose any flavor afterwards, becoming yet another isekai series. Lets see just how much this can hold up.

This is another harem series where the MC has no close male friends, right ?
There's another Narou novel where the MC has a very close male friend that helps him a lot in some critical situations. The title of that novel is [ 影の使い手」. In that novel, both the MC and his friend doesn't start with a harem, but another guy, the Yuusha guy, has a harem from the very beginning, with multiple girls interested in him. If anyone's interested, go check it out, but be prepared to read through walls of text of battle scenes that reads like someone else's RPG gameplay journal, with details of levels, skills and abilities like in a game. |

For example, Nidome is ranked 25th while Chiyu Mahou is ranked 148th, according to this ranking point chart here. http://yomou.syosetu.com/rank/list/type/total_total/ Most recent WN titles that got full anime cours seem to come from the higher ranks, like Re Zero (6th), Death March (3rd), and Knights and Magic (15th). (Esp the upcoming Arifureta (2nd) and Slime Tensei (4th).) The 100th ranked Izakaya Nobu got an anime, but that's only as internet shorts (which seem to be tied to a tourism campaign). |

Goblin Slayer's author mentioned in a recent interview that WN format allows authors to receive reader feedback on their novel chapters released in Narou, like encouragement words or even suggestions on writing improvement. (LN publishing denies you this direct feedback source.) WN chapters are something like magazine manga chapters, but with no professional editing. WNs that get published usually go through editorial review, resulting in smoother writing and plot structuring. Sometimes LN versions give author the chance to revise WN content or put in new LN-only story arcs (like Shield Hero and Death March). Sometimes publishing companies like Alphapolis have a digest policy, where they forbid the WN author from posting on Narou anymore. |
