I just caught up with the web novel (can't wait on the LN ), but I have some seriously confusion about Chloe, can someone please enlighten me?

So basically

Spoiler for Web novel spoiler:

Chloe got summoned to the fantasy world together with Leon as a child
=> she further got summoned by Yuuki into the future
=> met Rimuru and he fixed her condition
=> Yuuki stole the ice coffin of the Hero to awaken Chloe into the Hero herself

*then no the confusing part* => Chloe, now an adult, were placed under Yuuki's control and defeat Hinata
=> somehow the souls of Hinata and Chloe met and the two travelled to the far past and had many adventures, among them was the sealing of Veldora
=> at some point Chloe met Luminas and went into a long slumber in the ice coffin which had been guarded by the Vampire Princess herself

It's like a paradox of time loop

Rimuru is made into an asexual being, yet (at least in the WN), the author went into more details about Hinata's "personal life", she was already in a physical relationship with Cardinal Nicholas (explicitly stated that she was not sexually frigid, and she indeed had carnal desire and all), it was also strongly implied that she had had various partners, for "companionship in the night" that is

I don't have any problem with it, it was just strange that the author didn't do the same for our MC

Pacing wise for the story of MT is bad. If the anime will only animate 1 or 2 season. it would just end in bad part of the arc. It also didn't helped that, it didn't get licensed. Tensei Slime is popular. And with the help of anime, it would just get more popular.

About the time paradox of Chloe's travel.

1) Chloe ended up in another world together with Leon.
2) Chloe getting summoned by smug loser villain into the future.
3) In the future, Chloe will meet Rimuru the slime.
4) Rimuru would befriend the kids, together with Chloe but further on, the story would branch out.
- in the current route/story.
5) Hinata fought and lost to Rimuru which awaken her hero seed and when she fought the current order controlled Chloe and lost, the hero seed sprouts and together with the spirit of Chloe, travels back in time.
6) Hinata, housing the spirit of Chloe that merge with her own soul, due to the fight had gone to the past to further nourish the soul. This is due to Chloe's skill that controls time. This skill allows Chloe to travel through the past to make preparation for the strongest hero. Time where, there is lack of trouble and the soul could further grow.
The that Hinata is using is probably's Chloe, Just imagine that Chloe is still a child and her mind is still a child but with Hinata piloting the body, making it stronger than ever. One body with 2 souls.
7) In the past, Hinata with Chloe's soul, met Ruminas and save her, while idiot Veldera rampages and destroy's her home.
8) hinata with the body of Chloe, that grow older in different timeline, Hinata should have perish here, when Chloe had finally attain the strength of her own. But she didn't. Its because of the hero seed of hinata. Remember, skills are born from within the soul. Even if Hinata is within the body of Chloe, her soul still has her skill. In previews timeline, Hianta's soul doesn't have an emerge hero soul, so the travel and nourishing of the hero's soul should be her last work. But the current timeline had made her soul stronger. So instead of perishing. Hinata's soul had become just weak and Chloe's soul had gone stronger and taken the helm of the body. Just switch in pilot.
- In between this time is probably where Ruminas fell in love with Chloe/Hinata and when Chloe's role in the past is finish or her training is finish, she probably entrust her body to Ruminas for caring.

Which brought us into the present.

I know its rather confusing and had lots of problem but that is what I understand from the WN. I'm waiting for the LN version. Hoping it's clearer and easier to understand.

So basically:
_ "Demon Lord" is just a title, to those that possess enough power.
Then there is "True Demon Lord" when one has "awakened" after fulfilling some conditions


Monsters in general sometimes get called as "demons"

HOWEVER, "Demon" also refers to a race in the "underworld", but they only exist in spiritual form until someone summons them to the "real world" and then those demons can gain physical bodies?
So Diablo, the 3 girls and Guy Crimson are of the same race?

Are the above correct?

Also, I saw some illustration featuring Guy and Diablo together, do they know each other?

yes, Diablo, the 3 demon girls, Guy and his 2 demon maids. those are all demon nobles from the underworld. and demons are spiritual beings. they can't exist for long in material world without a master to anchor them or a body to possess.

Lucky we get 24 episode for this anime (half a year or 2 season) time to burn the content for anime adaptation.

edit: the last Time 8-bit make 2 cour Anime is Tokyo Ravens which is another great anime out there.

I've only just heard of this series.

I understand one praise of this series is that is has "very good worldbuilding" and "adminstrative nation-building".

However, I'm also aware that series like Death March (at least the WN/LN version) also has detailed/good worldbuilding.

My question is - what sort of advantage does/will Slime Tensei have compared to Death March's story?
